Chapter 1

Maya’s P.O.V

Everything is the same as usual.

Everyone avoids me and I avoid them.

My name is Maya. Just Maya. All I know is that I was found in a forest and have almost no memory of before I was found and which is very unusual since I remember everything that happened throughout my life since then.  I have Brown-gold wavy hair and ocean blue eyes. My skin is pale and I have an average height. Maybe a little bit smaller than average. I am very beautiful, that is something I admit. Also I think I forgot to say that I am an angel. Yes you heard right, I am angel and also the most powerful one at that. You can say that am sort of a legend I guess?

Many people are scared of me but I don’t really care. Whenever someone tries to talk to me I ignore them and continue doing what I was doing as if those people were ghosts. This is what led to people hating me and think of me as a bitch. I don’t blame them. I know that what I did or better yet still do, is rude. Though now no one ever talks to unless it’s necessary.  I think having friends and people around you is useless. Everyone seems happy talking with others, but I don’t. All I ever felt in my life was pain, Sadness and pain. Letting people get too close to you can only get you hurt. I am done with these feelings.

Even though I act though and am distant, I still get hurt, annoyed and bored like any other normal person. The only difference is that all the feelings I feel are negative, so you can say I also have a negative personality. Not that it really matters.

It’s 7th period, last period of the day, finally! I am so bored, I already know all the stuff the teachers teach but I still have to go to the stupid school! My dad, well the person that adopted me, is the head Master if the school. Well whenever you hear headmaster you imagine and ugly old man in his 90’s I guess but my dad, is pretty hot if I may say so myself he is in his 30’s, 33 to be exact. So when he found me he was, 27. He is the second most powerful angel, that is apart from me.  He wants me to make friends, and have fun. But I really don’t see the point. Anyway he is dark hair, neck long and dark blue purplish eyes like when the sky is turning in night, well the closest colour would be indigo I guess. He is pretty muscular if I may say so myself. 

Today is really a weird day… all the teachers gave us tests and for the first time ever we also got physical tests and these were all without warning. Although I don’t look it, I am the curious type and I mean really curious!

“Maya, please come to the principal’s office.”  My history teacher told me, looking like she can’t wait to stop talking to me and go somewhere else, anywhere else.  I went to the principal’s room Aka my dad’s office, to find 4 other students waiting there as well. I had no idea who they are and also I don’t really care. I wonder why I was sent here, I don’t recall doing anything wrong.

He opened the door and signalled us all to come in.

We did as we were told. “I have called all of you here because there is a task I want all of you to help in. I think that you all think it’s a weird day, just like an exam day.” He sat down on the sofa in his office as he spoke and signalled us to do the same. “You all know of the destroyer right?”

“You mean the demon that is a threat to all 3 planets and was sealed away a few years back?” asked the only guy in the middle of the 3 girls.

“Yes, that’s the one. I’m afraid he escaped from his seal.”

“WHAT?! Does that mean we are all dead now?! And why hasn’t anybody heard of this?!” asked girl number one, I think I saw her name somewhere. She’s Reya, Reya Miles also the person who scores 2nd in every mental test. As I told you all I am first in everything.

“Calm Down. This is exactly the reason for the tests and the reason for all of you to be called here. I want all of you to go to earth, where he is currently resting, to heal and gain his energy back, and try to stop him along with the help of 5 other devils.” he spoke with an extremely  serious tone, which is very rare. He has a sort of goofy and clumsy personality even though he is the headmaster of the school. How do I know this? Well he is my dad.

 “Wait, Did you just say along with 5 Devils?! DEVILS?” asked another girl. Wait I also know this one, she is the 2nd best in all the Physical activities. If I am not wrong her name is Ella, Ella style.

“You heard correctly. To defeat him we need to join forces. You will all go to earth and live together and work with each other. You will go to earth schools and of course you all need to hide your powers. No one must find out about you. As you know earth knows nothing of the planets heaven and hell.”

“I am not living with any devils!” Shouted Ella and the guy agreed with her. I honestly have no idea who the guy’s name is but he is quite popular since I saw him a few times in a group of people, but never really cared. The other girl was quite, I never saw her or heard of her and I think she was trembling with her hands clutched to the guy’s hands.

“You were all chosen because you proved to have loads of potential. You will all leave at dawn no objections. Maya will be in charge of all of you and all the devils. She will also test you to see if you can handle it.” he said as he sat u and went to his desk.

“You are all dismissed apart from Maya.”

Everybody goes out without another word.

“What the hell dad?! How come you didn’t tell me anything?!” I asked in a furious tone wanting to know why he hid it.

“I know you’re angry, but I couldn’t tell anyone. I am sorry. I want you to see if they can co-operate as a team. I know you can create your own dimensions. I thought that skill was extinct. You are very powerful; I put you in charge since your the most powerful. I want you to protect them and also try to become friends with them. This can also help to build a better bond with the devils. Please understand.” This is the first time I saw him so serious in all my life!

“Ok I understand. I will test them, I will also co-operate and protect them but I won’t promise anything about becoming friends with them.” I told him in a sort of understanding voice.

“Maya you know I love you, please be careful.” He said while tears were filling his eyes. I went in for a hug, I really care for him and love him and I own him my life. He saved me and if he got hurt I don’t know how I would react, I was sad that I was going to leave him. He always tried his best to make me happy, and smile. He’s the only person I let in my heart. Though I didn’t let him in straight away, it took years.

 “I’ll miss you too.” I said with a caring voice, I was actually surprised with myself; I never really talked like that.

"If anything happens, try to contact me! I'll always be with you watching over you" he spoke in a said and worried tone, if he could he would probably come with us but he can’t since he is the headmaster and since no one knows that the destroyer escaped so there won’t be any panic on either worlds, probably why they choose us students. They could easily tell everyone they sent us on a trip or something like that. 

"Anyway guess it's time to pack, we leave at dawn."

sorry if the chapters are a little short, am more of a short chapters writer. I recently started writing (not even a year ago) so am still pretty bad, am sorry if there are many grammar mistakes !
