Chapter 16

Tiaria P.O.V

It had taken a couple of days to clean up from the fight we had with the rouges, nobody was allowed to leave their homes or pack house until cleared. Alpha Michael had sent a group of men to make sure that the rouges had left completely if any looked like they would come back they were killed instantly. The ones that submitted had been sorted out, they were going back to their packs if theirs was still existing if not they either joined other packs. A lot of people found their mates so, some were staying and some were leaving. I was now out of hospital but was to take great care, gotta love wolf healing. Harley hasn’t left my side since I been out, which had been nice but a little suffocating but I knew that his wolf needed some kind of comfort.

Right now I was cooking our tea, Harley was actually with the Alpha’s he had been ordered to go so he wasn’t impressed leaving me on my own. I was cooking spaghetti Bolognese with garlic bread and French bread. I had the table set with candle lights and light dim. A romantic sight. Putting everything on low, I ran upstairs to get dressed, I already had my bath and did my hair and make-up I just had to get dressed. I slipped on a teal maxi dress that hugged my curves. The dress had black slash under the bust, which matched my black smoky eyes, my hair was down and wavy. I left my feet bare. Walking back down stairs, I placed the wine in a bucket of ice, setting the two glass either side, along with the cutlery. The breads were in the middle in to separate bowls. Everything was ready just had to wait for Harley. Stirring the sauce and spaghetti, I wondered what was taking their time and what was so important that they didn’t need me. I was a little worried.

It had been about half hour and no sign I couldn’t mind link him, I was getting annoyed, Alpha Michael had said that I wouldn’t take too long. Sighing, the food was ruined, taking it off the hobs, I dished it on  i two plates, taking them over to the table, I sat eating mine alone, leaving his to get cold, I would just make something else for him. I tried mind linking him again but nothing, deciding that I would try Alpha Michael.

‘Alpha Michael, is Harley there with you?’

‘Tiaria, no he is not, the meeting finished 45 minutes ago. Is everything okay?’

‘Yeah I just can’t get in touch with him through mind link’

‘I’m sure he is okay, probably stuck talking with the lads’

‘Thank you Alpha’

I was kind of hurt, pissed off and really sad, sitting on the settee all I could think was that he regretted having me as he mate and found another. Letting the tears roll down my face, I blew out the candles, and walked up stairs to bed. Slipping into my pyjama’s then into bed, I welcomed sleep.

Harley P.O.V

After the meeting with the Alpha’s I was taking to a few of the lads, which ended us going to their house for a couple of drinks, after a while, I realised that I had kept my mind link blocked from everyone, I knew that Tiaria would be worried, I was suddenly attacked by her feeling, hurt, sad, confused, rejected. I felt like shit, telling the lad’s goodbye, I bumped into Alpha Michael he informed me that Tiaria was worried and contacted him. Slipping into the house, the lights were dimmed, I could see that the table was set up in a romantic way, everything was cleared up the only thing there was my plate, Spaghetti Bolognese. The wine was sitting in a bucket of water. I really felt like the shittest mate alive. She had gone to all this trouble and I ruined it. I did remember her saying hurry home there is a surprise but with the meeting and the lads I totally forgot. Walking upstairs, I saw my beautiful mate curled up with my pillow with tears down her face. I gently nudged her to wake her up, she stirred slightly, kissing her face, and she woke up.

‘Tiaria I am so sorry, I ruined the night for us, I forgot what you had said. I had my block up while in the meeting Alpha’s orders and I forgot to put it back down, then the lads and I got talking which ended up with us having a few drinks. I am so sorry, can you please forgive me?’  I rushed out in one breathe.

‘I forgive you Harley, but if this ever happens again I won’t be so forgiving and you be sleeping in the spare room for a while. I had something I wanted to tell you that is very important.’

‘I will make it up to you tomorrow. Now what is important?’

‘Well Harley… I’m pregnant’

‘You mean that I am going to be a dad’

‘Yes we are going to be parents. I have a meeting with the Alpha tomorrow and then a doctor’s appointment after would you like to come?’

‘Yes I would love to’ I picked up Tiaria from the bed, and she explained that when they ran the blood tests they found out that she was pregnant and very lucky not to have lost it. I was a very happy man, stripping my clothes I jumped into bed with her kissing her belly telling my pups that I love them. I kissed Tiaria then fell asleep with a big smile on my face.
