I am a poet.
When I first started writing, it was poetry I scribbled down on scratch paper, filling up my margins. Sure, I wrote stories too, but in all honesty poetry's been where I can be myself.
It's how I've been able to express things that I can't say or get out otherwise.
This book?
This book is my soul, laid bare and clean for you to see.
This, for me... this is poetry.
Of course not all my poems are here - this is just a small amount of what I've written. These poems come from middle school or later, and are written according to feelings I had at the time of writing them. Some of them are to tell a story, and others are just representations of my emotions.
