Chapter 1



----The day before----



It was a usual rainy Monday morning and it was just like every other, Maddy was getting yelled at by her Mum, and her dad was rushing out the door " come on you will be late!" Shouted her Mum from the bottom of the stairs!
15 minuets later

Maddy was stumbling down the path with a bit of burnt toast stuck in her mouth and her bag laying wide open and all her stuff going everywhere, as she walked down the road to the school she heard someone behind her " Mmmm you may want to zip your bag up !" Rhydian, Maddy's good friend giggled.
" so how how are you " he added running to catch up with her.
"Aww. I'm great never felt better!" She said sarcastically .
"Haha that's good, I'm not any better then you." As they starred at each other smiling.
"Have you studied for the exam after lunch!" Rhydian chuckled
"Oh my god oops I totally forgot my parents were telling me about what will happen tomorrow... You know?!" She said laughing
When they got to school

When Maddy and Rhydian got to school they ran straight to registration, and were 20 minutes late!
" Maddy ..... Rhydian, your late ?" Said Mr Jefferson
"Yeah well ... Sorry" they both replied.
As they made there way to the back of the gritty classroom Jimi shouted out "Hey that's no fai-" and Mr Jefferson cut him off "Right that's enough, I will talk to them at break!"
The bell rang and everyone went out of the room to their next class, but Shannon ( Maddy's best friend ) pulled her aside, and rhydian stood there as if Shannon was wanting to talk to him.
"Go,i will be okay!" Maddy said to him giving him big eyes.
"Fine I will be waiting outside!" Rhydian said walking away.
Maddy felt quit bad telling him to go away so she asked her other best friend Tom who was also standing next to Shannon, to go with him.
However she was a little worried about what Shannon wanted her to talk to about, but she had an ideas.
Shannon grabbed Maddy's hand and pulled her to the Side of the corridor.
"Right I'm a little confused who is this rhydian person you seem to be best friends with him and I have never head you speak about him before " Shannon looked quite worried, so Maddy replied
" aw he's just a friend ... " there was a long pause
"I don't believe you!" Shannon said looking at the ground
"WHAT !? " Maddy turned around in outrage
"Your a 14 year old girl who has 2 Best friends and then this random person just turns up out of nowhere and now your like uh he is nobody ... really Maddy " Shannon walked off
"NO SHANNON !" Maddy shouted down the corridor.

When they got outside

"Shannon,please I'm so sorry"Maddy shouted running after her down the play ground
"Forget it Mads. I don't want to have a friend that can't trust me"
Rhydian grabbed Maddy's shoulder " Let her cool off "
A tear ran down Maddy's face she just wanted to tell her what she was, what rhydian was, they were.

When the bell rang

The bell rang and everyone waddled back Into the school, Tom was last in as he had been playing football ( even thought Maddy told him to stay with rhydian.)
There next class was science, as Maddy and Rhydian went in and sat at the back table as usual, Shannon and Tom sat in the middle.
"Right class, settle down, get into a group of 4" shouted the teacher over the rabble of noise.
Maddy walked across to the table where Shannon and Tom were sitting "Do you want to work with us" Maddy said nervously
"NO!" Shannon said walking of to another grope
"I will, if you want " Tom said walking over to the desk.
All thorough the lesson Shannon never looked at them.Maddy felt so bad, she didn't know what to do."Rhydian" Maddy whispered "Meet me in the photo room at lunch" she added.
Tom was wondering what they were talking to and felt quite left out,but he didn't really care, he was trying out for the school football team, so he was practicing day and night.

The bell rang for the next class

"What am I going to do, Shannon hates me " Maddy said to Rhydian
"Leave her be, talk to her in the morning" Rhydian was getting fed up of the girls fighting!
The next class was maths ... nobody likes maths, so the class sat and talked but Maddy and Rhydian studied for their exam.

The bell went for lunch

Maddy took Rhydian's hand and pulled him to the photo room." Maddy Im hungry!"Rhydian moaned
"do you want to fail this exam" Maddy said said sitting down at a desk in the corner, there was a long pause, Rhydian sat down next to her, and pulled his jotter and started to study.
It was 5 minutes to the bell and they were still studding "Maddy I'm hungry!" Rhydain moaned for the 5th time
"Right, come on then, don't have long till are exam so, I guess we need some brain food" Maddy was a little hungry to, so they went and got some fish and chips and just took a bite and the bell went "uhh I don't want to go to this stupid exam, can I not just stay with my fishy!" Rhydian laughed.
"I wish we could, come on!" Maddy said laughing.

The exam

Maddy and Rhydian walked down the corridor where everyone was waiting to get in to the hall, Maddy saw Shannon standing right at the front, she felt so bad, but she just couldn't bring her self to tell her!
Mr Jefferson opened the door "please take a seat, quietly" everyone went in and sat down on the small desks there was, the paper, a pen, a pencil some water, a sharpener and of course the dreaded paper.
After the exam everyone was stressed ,Shannon was still blanking Maddy and Rhydain, witch made it very awkward.
"Well done everyone, and all for your hard work, you can have the rest of the day off ..." Mr Jefferson shouted along the corridor to all the pupils!
"Hey I'm going to burnies coming " said Tom
"Sorry Tom I don't feel so good I'm gonna just go home coming Rhydian"Maddy said
"Sorry, maybe another time ae?" Rhydain said following Maddy
"I will come!" Replayed Shannon

Home time

"Do you want to come back to mine,mum could make us hot chocolate?" Maddy asked Rhydian
"Well I have to go back first, my foster parents will be wondering where I am!"said Rhydian walking off.
"Hey they don't know we are out yet?" Said Maddy
"Well we better get to your house then!" Said Rhydain turning around

A few hours later

"Well I better be going then, thank you for dinner Mr and Mrs Smith"Rhydain said walking to the front door
"Anytime, Rhydain!" They said waving him good bye
"Bye Rhydian, see you tomorrow" said Maddy waving him off down the road
"Right you bed, now you have a big day tomorrow!" Emma ( her mum ) said.
"Okay okay I'm going!" Maddy shouted running up the stairs.
When she got up stairs there was a text waiting for her :- night night, don't let the ware wolfs bite. Rhydian.
