MASH

People mash up their feelings

Because they think

It doesn't count

That nobody cares

People mash up their feelings

Throw it in the trash

So it can leave

Their life

Forever

Because they feel

It's stupid

Dumb

What was they thinking

But they wasn't thinking

Emotions and feelings

Come from within

The heart

Not the brain

Thinking about how

You feel for someone

It isn't true love

True love comes in

All shapes,sizes, ways

You feel it

But can't explain it

Its so amazing

Your heart swells up

With joy

Bursts like

A cannon

Happy New Year

People become depressed

Because its not the same

It's not them

But everyone has their time

Yours shall come soon

When you least expect it

Have I felt it?

Of course I have

I feel it every time I

See him

Think of him

Feel his touch

Hear his voice

Well I should say I feel his love

All the time

So close but yet so far away
