Allies

Abigail's POV

I have to admit I like beeing Clove. Its really awesome but the arena has been boring for the last couple hours. Nothing "interesting" has happened since Avril left.

"Im going for a walk" i say and start walking to nowhere.

Someone's following me.

I can hear the footsteps really close. Someone taps on my shoulder and i grab a knive and turn around to see Adam right in front of me.

"Woah" he said and raised his hands to his head

"What are you doing here?"

"I have to tell you something"

"What is it?"

"We have to find Avril and get out of here before someone dies"

"What?"

"I had a vision. This creapy guy in a cloak said that we didint belong here and that bad things are coming our way!!!"

"Why didint you tell Jake? He's the 'leader' of the carreers"

"Cause i wanted to tell you first."

I rolled my eyes.

"Fine. We have to find her" I said.

Jake's POV

"Hey guys I've been looking for you everywhere" said a guy that came out of nowhere.

I guess Jemma saw my expression cause she whispered to my ear.

"Marvel"

Oh.

"Uhh where were you?" I asked him

"I was looking for someone to kill when i realized you guys werent there. And were is Clove and Lover boy?"

Oh he means Abigail and Adam.

"Well Abi- Clove said she was going for a walk. And I guess lover boy is with her."

"Okay" he said and settled down with us.

After a while Adam and Abigail appeare. I guess they saw Marvel cause they didint knew who he was, i mouthed 'Marvel'.

"We have to find Avril." Said Adam

"Who?" asked Marvel

"He means the girl on fire" Abiagail corrected Adam

"Oh." Marvel said

"Yeah well we better head to the cornucopia" Said Jemma

"Why?" Asked Adam

"When she left she had no supplies and i dont think the sponsors have helped her yet so she must be heading there by now." I explained

"But right now? I mean its getting dark. We should make a fire and sleep here for the night we can go there in the morning" said Marvel

"Yeah we should stay here for the night" said Jemma

"Fine" i said and we settled there for the night

Avril's POV

Its been almost 3 hours since i left the stream and still no sign of the cornucopia or other tributes. Im starting to regret leaving them but if i hadn't then one of us would be dead by now. I sight and sit on the ground. Its getting dark and before i knew it i was laying on the ground. What a stupid thing to do Avril. I thought to myself, but i wasn't gonna sit up again so i just laid there watching the branches in the trees.

Its dark now and I was still laying on the ground when i saw someone in the shadows on the corner of my eye. I jumped and standed up as fast as i could. I wish i had a weapon but i didn't have one. Avril prepare yourself to die in your favorite book ever i thought to myself as i tried to see who it was.

"Go ahead" i said

"Im not here for that" said the guy

"Then why are you here?"

He stepped out of the shadows

Right in front of me was Thresh.

He started to say something but the anthem began playing and he looked almost hypnotized. No faces on the sky. 'Thank you' i thought and Thresh said it atloud.

"I need to find the girl from my district"

"Rue" i whispered

"I care about her and i think We could-"

"Hold it right there. We? Why would you want me as an ally?" I interrupted

"I think we could find her. At least before someone else does"

"I have no-"

He pulled a bow out of nowhere

"Wow you do want me as an ally"

I thought about it. Rue. The little 12 year old who will die in less than 3

days.

Unless i can stop it

"Allies." I says to him

Finally. I had to rewrite this entire chapter because when i was about to submit the original one... Boom it was erased -.-

Anyways i still like this chapeter a lot idk if you guys do too.

Im taking ideas for the story so if you have one comment below!
