Chapter 2: The surprise

   I quickly ran up to my room when I got home, jumped onto my bed and screamed into one of the pillows in excitement because Jake and Sam had already gone to bed. We share a room while Alexis and Damon shared a room across the hall. Jake dropped out of  college to become a youtuber, but he only has about 100 subscribers, but his camera skills and his acting are really impressive, so I'm really surprised he doesn't have more.

    I scrolled through my notifications on Vine. I looked at the most recent notification. It was a comment. From Brandon fucking Calvillo. I tapped on the little bar and read the comment. It read "Hey congrats Cali, you've won the contest. I noticed that we both live in same area of L.A. so mabye we could meet up somewhere in town. If you could give your email and I'll email you where and when we could meet and I'll also email you my number."

      I couldn't belive that I was going to meet the Brandon Calvillo. I quickly commented my email and then I tagged him in it to make sure he would see it. I started to freak. I grabbed my phone and texted Damien.

Cali:OMG, I won Brandon Calvillo's contest and I'm going to meet him!

       I hit send and waited for the the little bubble that showed when the person was typing on iOS 7. As soon as it came up, I anxieously waited for the text alert to go off. When it did I read it at an faster than usual pace. All it said was

Damien: k coolios, so where r u guys gonna meet up?

  Not letting Damien's horrible spelling affect my immense fellings of happiness  I just responded with a simpple

Cali: OK well got to go.

Not even bothering to wait for him to respond I turned off my phone and the lights and grabbed a random book and my glasses, then sat back down on my bed and turned on my reading light that attachs to the book. I read about 60 pages before  I ripped a piece off paper and placed between the pages. I turned on to my right side and went to sleep.

            I woke up to harsh rays of the sunlight. Once I finally had enough of blinding light, I rolled over onto my right side where  Jake's bed was parellel to mine.

      I quietly crept down the stairs because only Jake and I was awake. The smell of

bacon hit me as I neared the corner of kithcen door. I opened the door and saw Jake cooking eggs and bacon, with his "Kiss The Cook" apron on. " What are you cooking?" I asked even though I already know. He jumped because he didn't notice that I came in.

    Instead of answering in words,  he just held up the pan, tilting it a little, then set the food from the pan onto a plate
