chapter 3: The Meet Up

    Grabbing the plates, I set up the table. i went up the stairs to wake everyone up. Walking into my room I shook Sam until he woke up. "huh?" he said in his morning voice. Now this may sound weird but his voice is kinda sexy. Well let's move on from that. Anyways  I woke up the devil children and I went down the stairs.( I tripped on my way down but let's keep that between us. I see. You see. We see. No see. kay? kay.)

     After the little 'trip' down the stairs( pun definitely intended) I removed  my phone from the charger and grabbed my  glass from the table and poured some orange juice.

    "So" I said, letting the common words in this house slip through my lips.

  "So."Jake said, followed by the devils and then Sam. I sipped at my orange juice waiting for mom to come downstairs. I stared at the picture of my dad. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer about 3 years ago due to smoking. He died about 2 weeks ago, the day before my birthday.

   "Hey Jake do you wanna stop by the old ice cream shop down the street from the gym?"I asked, in a tone i guess would be hopeful. When Jake and I were little we used to go to this ice cream shop called Samantha's Frozen Treats.

   "Sure"  he responded. Of course Alexis wanted to come but she had a ballet recital  and Sam had drama and Damon had a soccer game it would just be me and Jake.

   I took a bite of my Pralines and Cream ice cream with chocolate
drizzle. My phone started to vibrate and I saw my email alert flashing. I opened up my email and I literally dropped my spoon on the floor.

" Hey idiot you dropped your spoon." Jake pointed out the otherwise obvious. I slapped his spoon onto the ground.

"Hey nitwit your spoon is on the floor." I said in my most sassy tone , which resulted in my voice cracking and Jake  laughing like a hyena.

  Hey Cali i was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight? Maybe go see the new Catching Fire movie?(a/n all rights belong to Suzanne Collins and maker of the movie.)  and then hang out at the park afterwards? Also do you have a phone? stupid question but email me your number and maybe I'll see you tonight?

     I responded to his email and about 10 minutes later received a email from him saying 'dK glad you can come ill meet you there tonight  at 7ish and yeah. Bye'

   I finished my ice cream and threw the remains of the cone and spoon.
I went on Temple Run and sat back down waiting for Jake because he had to go to the restroom.I sat and played on my phone until I died for the 3rd time. Eventually Jake came back and we left.

           I put my hair into multiple ponytails and then ironed it( A/N thank you cousin for giving me that idk style?) ,which makes slightly wavy hair so I was pretty happy with it. I got dressed in my black Brandy Melville Selda dress, my black Aztec print TOMS, and put on my infinity ring, and bandana head wrap  from Claire's ,and grabbed my Disney Beauty And The Beast Hobo Bag from Hot Topic and shoved my Disney Alice In Wonderland Tea Party Wallet, also from Hot Topic, in my bag. I checked my phone to see what time it was. 6:30. I grabbed my keys and hurried to the movie theater.

A/N: Sorry I haven't Updated since forever but I have been so busy with drama and my dad coming back and omg its just been so hectic since i came back from the philipenes and i mean full on hell. Also go read my new story  thats why i smile.Also I have 371 reads on this story and this is so exciting for me and i couldve never got here without you ,so i will try to update sometime before monday for you guys, also thanksgivings coming up, what do you plan to do. me well i amd going to be my lazy ass self and do nothing and just stuff my face with turkey. Also what are you doing for black friday. My mom said she mioght buy me my new laptop but her mabyes are usually nos but lets wait to find out. Love you guys bye.
