Chapter 2 :lets play

AND CHAPTER 2 STARTS~~

"So you are not dumb after all" said Hak with a smirk.

Rie continued to glare at him with her magnificent blue eyes. It was a clear hate at first sight.

Yona ignored Hak and pulled Rie by her hand to the nearby castle garden.Rie somehow managed to not fall down by the sudden pull and accompanied Yona to the garden.

The two men followed.

They reached to a man-made fountain and Yona picked up a lotus from it. she handed it to Rie with a wide grin.Rie accepted her friendship though it made her all wet.

The lotus was deep red.It reminded Rie of her mother.The last time she saw her, her mother was all red.How she saved her,how easily she gave away her life.

Rie came out of her thoughts when Yona shouted 'Let's play something'
she could spot the hidden expressions of the boys.

Hak clearly stated 'Sorry himesama,  I have work to do'

soo woon gave the same excuse though in a completely different manner.

Looking at Yona's dissapointed face Rie SPOKE.
'Its okay , I'll play with you Yona-chan, though the way I play is a bit different'

Yona gave her a cute smiling nod.

The boys being rather pleased by the female's suggestion looked at each other in relief, but as the turned back to Yona and Rie they were not there anymore.They vanished in the quiet breeze.

Rie had caught hold of Yona and quickly got out of the garden before Hak could spot them.She took Yona near the back side of castle while Yona remained oblivious of what was happening. Rie was fast.Rie halted and told Yona that today they were going to explore the outside of the castle.Yona agreed enthusiastically.

Rie managed to steal two blankets to cover them and a pony.The gatekeeper was sleeping in broad daylight. 'How pathetic' Rie thought.

The back gate of the castle was a secret passage which was used only when the king's life was in danger, it was a tunnel which ran through the underground with an entance at the back of the castle.

Both the girls covered themselves so that no one could see them.Rie helped Yona climb up the horse and both of them entered the tunnel.

It was very dark but Rie managed to find the exit. It ended inside a forest.Yona having seen the forest the first time in her life shook herself in excitement. Rie smiled at her and lead the pony towards the city.

The forest ended after a one hour journey within which Yona slept.

when they reached the city Rie lead the pony to a restaurant where she stopped to give the pony some food and water.she shook Yona hard and she woke up .

"Lets eat something" Rie suggested.
Yona nodded in acquisition.

They entered the restaurant.Inside, men were sitting discussing their work .There was no sight of a woman.  Seeing two little ladies enter, everyone looked at them in awe.
Rie smartly, ignoring the stares walked towards an empty table and sat there.She had a fixed expression on her face that somehow reflected her nobility.  Yona tagged along her and sat beside her. The staring men returned back to their work.

"I am hungry"Said Yona.

"You will have to wait here Yona, its not your home, its the outside world." said Rie.

Yona smiled in excitement and nodded.

Hak and soo woon had searched almost everywhere but even after two hours there was no sign of the princesses.

They thought of informing the king but he was too busy as well, and they did not want to disturb him.

"So what should we do now?" asked the tired Hak.

"I dont know, maybe we should inform King II aferall" answered soo woon

"but what if  they are just hiding to tease us? "

" then we will be just disturbing king II"

"And I thought I was going to get a beautiful afternoon sleep"

soo woon sighed heavily.

As the sun was setting,  the princesses returned riding their pony.

"so beautiful" Yona awed looking at the sun.

"just like you" Rie complimented.

They entered the forest and were almost near the exit of the tunnel.

As they rode faster and faster Yona asked Rie who those black dressed people were pointing her finger at the opposite direction. Rie turned around and her eyes widened.
she halted the pony and looked at the black dressed more significantly.Her expression changed from that of satisfaction to a horrified one . She rode the pony the fastest she could towards the exit of the tunnel, she entered it along with yona.

when they were safely inside the castle she removed the blanket from yona and asked her not to tell anything about what happened today to anyone.Yona was confused with the question" why " but agreed to keep quiet for she did not want to loose her friend.

when Rie had walked Yona to her room, she ran back to the pony and exited the castle the second time that day.The only difference was that this time in place of Yona she had a sword with her.

"Hey Hak , there she is "
soo woon said.

"Hak ran towards Yona along with soo woon.

he asked "where have you been the last three hours and where's princess Rie?"

Yona looked at both Hak and soo woon one at a time. she thought for a moment and said.
"we were bathing"

Both Soo woon and Hak being irritated (after all they did enough work looking for they princesses) SIGHED HEAVILY.

For dinner King II had decided to eat along with the four children.As he entered the dining room all except one was present.

"where is Rie?"asked King II hoping everything was fine.

both the boys looked at Yona and yona lied that she last saw her when they were bathing.

King II called the servent to ask whether Rie had been informed about the dinner.

The servent told King II that they couldn't find her.

king II said, " then ,where is she?"

"we dont know your majesty"

BAMM! the door opened

"am here " said Rie as she entered the room looking quite tired but beautiful.

"sorry for the daily suprises I've just been exploring, I am really sorry for being late" she said.
