[Jae's POV]

I wait outside the movie theatre with Ty, looking for Jack. The movie starts at 5:30, today, and it's 5:00. Oh, I hope he shows up.
"Come on, Jack, where the fuck--" Ty rants, until he sees him, I can't though. "Oh. Daaaaamn, Jack! Noice."
"WHERE IS HE?!!??" I yell at Ty.
"RIGHT THERE, ARE YOU BLIND!!!!??!" Ty screams back, while pointing around the corner, where a very cute Jack is approaching, smiling at the sight of us fighting.
"Oh." I say with a smile as Jack walks up the stairs to Benny Decker Theatre. He's so cute bless him.
Jack comes to the theatre dressed nice. He has a short sleeved button down, a North Face jacket, and blue jeans, and sneakers. He's wearing (some type of) cologne which actually doesn't smell like teenage boy. Amazing. "Hey Jae. Hey Tyrone." He greets us.
"Hi Jack, you look nice" Tyrone tells him, and to be honest, he looked fine as hell, like damn aren't I lucky?
"Thanks Ty, and you too Jae, you look beautiful." He says looking over at me, giving me a sly wink, wrapping an arm around my waist. Oh shit. Did I say that out loud again?
"Oh shoot.. Heh, thank you." I say, looking up at him as he starts to guide us inside and towards the ticket booth.
"Two please." Jack tells the- oh. It's Justin.
"Hey guys, you're here together?" Justin asks us, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh yeah," Jack laughs, "Just taking my girlfriend out on a proper date."
"Girlfriend, huh? Nice one, Jack." Justin tells Jack, and I can't help but blush. He passes us two tickets and nods, "This one's on me- you two go have fun."
"Oh wow, thanks dude!" I tell him with a wide smile on my face. Jack thanks him as well, and we make our way into the theater. Honestly, I have no idea where Ty went but we'll find him later.
We find a few seats towards the center of the theater, but before we sit down, Jack tells me that he's going to go do something real quick. As I wait for him, I spot Ty over with some people from supply.
"Ty!!!!!!" I call out, catching his attention. I wave him over, telling him to come.
"Why did you leave?" I ask him, since I was sorta hoping he'd stay with me to help me out with the date a bit
"I ain't boutta third wheel Jake." Ty tells me bluntly. Hngh, whatever. I raise an eyebrow and nod, letting him go.
"Hey babe, I'm back." Babe? Shit I could get used to that. He had a medium popcorn in one hand, some drink in the other, and watermelon sour patch kids tucked under his arm. I give him a warm smile.
"Aw that's sweet, here lemme help you with that." I tell him, reaching for the popcorn and drink to set them somewhere.
We get ourselves settled, and once all the ads and colors were over, we prepared ourselves for the movie that could possibly make me shit my pants.
As the movie progresses, I don't even dare look at the screen. I've probably already shrieked four times, and it's not even an hour into the movie. I could hear some scary music coming up, and I jump at just the sound of the girl screaming for help.
"Shhh, it's okay Jae," Jack soothes me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and and I go to bury my face in his fabric clad chest. He whispers sweet comforts into my ear, softly rubbing my back as I calm down in his strong, yet gentle arms. Once I get my shit together, I move away from his chest, but he keeps his arm around me.
"If you get scared, grab onto me, okay? I'll protect you from whatever you're afraid of." He coos into my ear. I smile as I look up at him and nod in understanding. I honestly use this as an excuse to hold his hand for the majority of the movie, but I actually am scared shitless.
Although Jack tried to pull off the manly-man "not scared of anything" act, but I always felt him slightly jump, or squeeze my hand a bit tighter than before when something scary came on. At one point in the movie, he even let out a small scream, letting go of my hand just to cover his face. That- my friend- was fucking priceless. It was so cute, I had to comfort him before I got too scared myself.
The movie itself- was scary as fuck, I'm probably gonna be scared until the next summer break. But having Jack there to hold me, and comfort me was quite nice. I'm not very sure how, but we ended up making out somewhere near the mid-point of the movie as well. Hell yeah, I enjoyed that. But now that the movie was over, it was time to go home.
"God, that was so scary," I say to myself, but also to Jack just to start conversation.
"It was, but I enjoyed it since you were holding onto me the whole time." Jack says with a smirk crossing his lips. Perfect time to bring up him screaming? I think so.
"Pshh, don't act like you weren't scared. Remember when you got scared, and I had to comfort you?" I say with an eye-roll.
"That was once! Once!!" He laughs, "I don't understand why people think I'm not emotional" I laugh along with him and shrug.
"Speaking of people who think you aren't emotional, where's Ty?" I ask out loud. Jack laughs hella loud and shrugs, "I haven't seen him since before the movie."
"He's probably with some other people." I guess.
"Or the girl from the movie got him." Jack whispers in my ear. I get shivers down my spine and push Jack away from me.
"Don't play like that, buttface!" I say laughing, quickly pulling him back closer to me, in fear of being too far away from him.
"I'm sorry princess, did I scare you? I'm sorry." Jack half-assedly apologizes, kissing my forehead. I roll my eyes at him, but can't help but smile at him calling me 'princess.'
Although his arms are around me, the breeze that passes through makes me shiver. Jack obviously notices, and right away proceeds to take his jacket off, and like a gentleman, offers it to me.
"You're gonna get cold, you still need to walk home." I warn him, not taking the jacket at first.
"Nah, I can get a ride from someone. Plus, the jacket will remind you of me, and also remind you that you're safe." He tells me, with a warm smile. God he's so fucking perfect. He puts the jacket on me, and as it lands on my shoulders, I can't help but notice, it smells of his cologne. fUCKING BLESS.
"You better stay safe and not possessed, I don't want this to be the last time I see my boyfriend in a normal state." I tease.
"No promises, babe." He teases back. In no time, we're already at my tower, inside of the lobby.
"By the way, your jacket smells fucking great"
"Oh thanks, I was sorta hoping you'd like it." He tells me with a smile.
"Would you like your jacket back?" I ask him, but he shakes his head no.
"Keep it, remember? To remind you that you're safe. I'll text you later, to let you know that I didn't get possessed on the way home." He says, I could tell he was holding back the urge to laugh.
"Hm, alright sounds good to me." I reply. Before I turn to go and get an elevator, he grabs me by my waist, pulling me towards him for a kiss. I enthusiastically take the kiss, smiling onto his soft lips as I feel his hands rest on my ass. My hands find their way around his neck, and we kiss, before I pull away. We stare into each other's eyes for a good five seconds before laughing out loud.
"Good night Jack, thank you for tonight." I tell him as I head towards the elevators.
"G'night. The pleasure was all mine."
We then head out different ways, mine, upstairs by elevator, and his, back to his house- hopefully getting a ride from someone so he doesn't die.
