[Jack's POV]
I walk Jae home giving her my jacket as a remembrance of me. It's about an eight minute walk to my house. Not that far, actually. I don't know what Jae was talking about, it isn't even cold. At least, not that much.
I finally make it home, after a long, quiet, Jae-less walk. It would've been great if someone gave me a ride, but people generally aren't out driving this late. I open the door to my house, and it's quiet. My family must be out. Oh, wait, I hear Edward practicing percussion. I go upstairs and see him practicing on his bed. "So, how was your date?" Edward asks. "Where's your jacket dude?"
"I gave it to JaeAnne. And our date--"
"OOOOHH JACK GAVE HIS JACKET TO RAMOSSS!!!" I roll my eyes at how my brother is acting, but continue on anyways.
"And our date was great- taking her out to a scary movie was a great way to get closer to her." I say with a small shrug, taking a seat on Ed's bed.
"I didn't know you had game like that, little brother."
"Yeah, I have more game in my pinky finger than you do in your whole body." I tease him with a laugh.
"Hey, that's not funny." He tells me, pushing me off of his bed, and out of the door, "Go text your girlfriend or something." Oh yeah, I need to text her, don't I? I throw my hand up for a small wave goodnight as I exit his room, and make my way into my own.
*hey jae, told u i wouldnt die* I send her with a chuckle. As I wait for her response, I get myself cleaned up and more comfortable and such. Once I finish up, I check my phone. No messages yet, she's probably doing something.
About twenty minutes later I get a message: *Lol sorry I was taking a shower, but I'm glad you're not dead [laughing emojis]* Shower, huh?
*aw, without me? (;* I laugh at my response, waiting for her reply as she types away.
*Fuuucckkkboyyyyy [skull and laughing emoji]*
*only for you, m'lady [laughing emoji]* What kind of conversation is this? I smile at our idiocy.
Our conversation lasts for hours, and before we know it, it's already 3. I could tell she was getting sleepy, but just the thought of her was keeping me wide awake. I didn't want to deprive her of sleep, so I decided to end the conversation.
*youre tired, you need to go to bed princess.* The idea of calling her princess really appealed- Don't even ask why, I'm not sure myself.
*But* *But I don't wanna go to bed.* She's such a child, I laugh and shake my head.
*goooood nigghttt, sweet dreams <3* I watch her type, hoping that she's giving in.
*Call?* What? Does she want me to call her? Huh, I guess. I call her on messenger, and she picks up immediately.
"Yes?" I ask, in a deep husky voice.
"I dunno, I just wanted to hear your voice. I like how it sounds..." She says in a nearly innocent sounding voice. I chuckle, and lay on my back so I can put my phone on my chest.
"Is that all?" I ask, trying not to be too loud.
"Mhm, that's all. Nighty night, sweet dreams, Jack."
"Sweet dreams Jae." I coo, before the call ends. I lay in bed, and I can't help but read through tonight's messages over and over. I finally feel my eyes drooping and my phone fall out of my hand before I turn over to fall asleep with Jae on my mind.
