NAOMI

"So what are you saying?" I ask the guy in front of me absent-mindedly, my attention not really focused on him but on my friends who are talking to some guys I have never seen before. It's obvious I'm not really listening by the frustration in this dude's expression. It's not my fault if I'm curious about what exactly they are talking about. Hopefully, not me. He stares at me blankly, running a hand through his hair. I smile at him, feeling guilty. My attention is on him again.

"You know what? Forget it," he mumbles, rolling his eyes and walking away. I frown. He's had it with me - I've done it this time. Now that he's gone, I walk up to my friends. Upon seeing them, I grin, realizing they're alone, the other people left. Ouch.

"Hey guys!" I greet excitedly just as the first band to play shout into the microphones. I look at Bex and Irene warily, trying to figure out just how many people will be here tonight. The last time we were here people, guests, were leaving before the first band got to play.

"So, let's go sit somewhere," I suggest, smiling, and they nod in agreement. Before we go sit, we hear a squeal and I almost groan at how high the pitch is.

"Hey, Piper," Bex greets her and I laugh. "Hey, dude," I say and hug her. She is cute, but she can be really annoying at times. And really loud.

"What have you guys been up to? Did you know, I just met -" she stops mid sentence, looking behind me. I stare at her, confused and I tilt my head to the side. "What?" I ask her. She's starting to worry me a little.

"He's coming this way!" She squeals, a bit too loudly, and I roll my eyes. "Who is Pipes?"

"The guy from that rock band, what's his name..." she clicks her fingers. I glance behind me, slightly turning my head and see who it is. Oh. That guy.

"Andrew? Andy? Something like that," I shrug, never able to remember the dude's name from Black Veil Brides.

"Yes! Right! Him!" Her eyes widen and she visibly swoons when he walks past. I raise my eyebrows, shaking my head. And I can't help it - I burst out laughing.

"Piper, I'm pretty sure he saw you literally making love-sick puppy eyes at him," I snort, looking at Irene when I say this. She rolls her eyes playfully and we go sit down.

"So how would you know whether he noticed?" Piper tries to argue with me, but seeing as I have already pointed it out on our way to sit down at this table near the stage where the usual new band is currently playing one of their songs, I nod towards the direction of Piper's number one band and reply, "Um, well...he is looking at us," I shrug uncaring.

"How can you be so chilled about it?! He's staring at us," Piper hisses, annoyed with me. I giggle, I can't exactly take her seriously. She is so hung up about it.

"Right! This next song is called 'The Demons Inside', hope you guys enjoy." That voice is really attractive, it's deep and I like deep voices.

He grabs my attention so for the next few minutes, I'm focused on the guy singing. He's pretty good. Huh. I wonder why I have not noticed before now. I did hear them a few times before at the same place, but I never noticed just how good they are. I must have been focused on my friends instead.

"Naomi? Earth to Naomikins?" I cringe at the nickname. So not cool.

"Um, Bex dude, please don't." I smile at her, she knows I don't like it therefore does it to get my attention.

"What were you staring at?" Piper asks mischievously, leaning in as if I have the biggest secret on the whole planet. Which I don't, but by the way my friend is leaning so close to me she can't get any closer than this, one would expect me to give in and tell them - as if I do have something to confess. I don't get a chance to reply before Irene does.
