*ring*

Without looking at the caller ID I answer the phone.

“Hello?”

“Cara! Good morning! Sorry to wake you up but I have good news and I can’t wait to tell you first.”

“yeah? What is it?”

“Your song is complete and it can be release soon.”

“Really!?”

“Yeah. So why don’t you come here and let’s listen to it together. I actually have not heard it too.”

“Stella?”

“I’ll call her. I don’t think she’s awake yet but I’ll try.”

“Okay, I’ll be there in half an hour.”

I hung up and hurry got up to get ready. I receive a text from Stan telling me that he’s on his way to my place. He sure is fast.

I was at the dressing table, putting on my light make up when I receive another text. It was from Cody. I won’t lie, I literally jumped up and down when I saw his name on my phone. Butterflies fluttering in my stomach. My hand was shaking as I open the text.

“Good morning beautiful. I hope you had a good sleep last night. I was wondering if you had any plan today x C”

I replied

“Good morning Cody. I did had a good sleep last night. I’m heading to Rory’s now and I’m not sure if I have anything plan right after that x C”

I couldn’t stop smiling as I keep re-reading the message. Stan called, saying he’s waiting for me. I hurry went down, literally skipping like a little girl. Stan look at me and raise one eyebrow of his.

“I see someone’s in a happy mood.”

“Yeah. It’s a good morning.”

I giggled as I got in the car. He got in to the driver seat and looked at me from the rear mirror.

“Whatever it is, you sure are glowing.”

I just smile at him as he start the car.

“By the way, I want to be the first to say congratulation on your first single. Proud of you.”

“Thanks Stan!”

*beep* *beep*

My phone buzzed. I looked and saw my kik notification and new message notification. I open the new message and it wasn’t from Cody. It was from Stella telling me she’ll be late and Laila quit due to some reason. I was sad that Laila quit but I guess she needed to focus more on her studies.

I opened my kik conversation and everyone was all hyper and as always randomness. I laughed out loud when I read all of their conversation. I notice Stan was looking at me from the rear mirror. I just smile at him and he smiled back.

“Stella, glad you can make it!”

Rory looked at Stella smirking.

“Whatever Rory. C’mon lets hear the song! Are you excited?”

I just nod and smile at her. I’m so nervous about it.

“okay, let’s hear it.”
