Chapter 6

Stan told me to wear a sunglasses, hat and a jacket with a hoodie. I wore short pants and my favorite allstar British flag shoe. Stan waited for me in the car while I wonder off to the Starbuck to get Stan and myself a coffee while waiting for Jane and Andy. Yup Kim and Andy will coming here today. I’m finally gonna meet them! I’m so nervous.

“They’ll love you. Don’t worry.”

Stan said as he sip his coffee and stood next to me while leaning on the car.

“But what if they don’t? I mean we have a lot to talk about in the chat room but what if it’ll be awkward!?”

“I know you and as soon as you get to know them, you’ll talk non-stop that they might begged you to send them back home.”

He laughed and I playful punch his shoulder then join him laugh.

Few minutes later, Kim’s plane just landed and follow by Andy’s plan. I drank my coffee non-stop showing how nervous I am. Stan pat my head and told me to take a deep breath. I did what he said and I left to get Andy and Kim. Andy went out first and when I saw her, she’s a few inch taller than I am. And just to remind myself she’s older than I am! I wave at her and she squeak when she saw me. She ran towards me pulling her baggage and hugged me.

“Hi! I’m so excited to be here!!”

I laughed and Stan came to take her baggage. She looked up at Stan and looked at me.

“He’s my bodyguard. Sort of. He’s more like a father to me.”

“Oh, thank you sir.” She said as Stan take her baggage. “So where’s Kim?”

“She’ll be here in 3..2…and there she is!”

Jane saw us and ran towards us with a small bag in her hand.

“HI! Oh my god I can’t believe it I’m here and you girls are here! Ahh!!”

Kim and Andy jumped up and down which made me laughed.

“We gotta go now. I’ll be spotted soon.” I said breaking them up and linked my arm to theirs. Kim on my left and Andy on my right. We giggled and got in the car. We stopped at McD for us to eat later in the house. As usual, Stan drop me off at the apartment and left.

When we’ve arrive at my place, Kim and Andy looked surprised. As expected.

“I thought you said you are a singer, why-“

“I am.” I cut Andy off and smile. “I just not that famous yet so I get to stay here. It’s safe and private.”

“Yeah not for long.” Kim said as she put the CD on the DVD player.

It was my album and they start dancing around to one of my song. I laughed as Andy and Kim pulled me and told me to dance with them. It wasn’t awkward but it was fun, we were jumping up and down, dancing like crazy and had a good laugh. They praised my song and it made me feel good because I had always been afraid that no one would like it.

“It’s amazing! You’ll be well known soon!” Andy said as she took a bite on her double cheese burger.

“Yeah! I’m sure of it!” Kim continue.

“Thanks girls!”

“So what is it between you and Cody?” Andy ask.

“How did you-“

“Oh I googled you.” Andy said spontaneously.

I gasp and playfully kick her leg. “You googled me!?”
