Jane was travelling back to the palace a second time to continue serving the crown, yet this time she would have a new lady to serve, Queen Anne Boleyn, she had heard many rumours of the new queens wrath and horrible attitude. Of course the rumours were whispers as it was a great crime to talk against the new queen. Jane knew many were opposed to her appointment, she herself was saddened due to the fact that she had served the late Queen Katherine, and had felt very favourable towards the women, as she had always been treated well under her command. She had heard stories of grown men, nobles of the King's court leaving the new Queens quarters in tears, when Jane heard these stories, they worried her, she knew she was a strong woman but she didn't know how strong and if she was truly strong enough to handle Queen Anne and her rumoured tough personality.

She noticed that she was completing her journey faster than she first thought she would and so predicted she will have arrived at Windsor before the day ended.

Jane had arrived and settled herself into her chambers with which she would share with the other ladies in waiting. She knew that it was Princess Mary's birthday and so nearly everyone was preoccupied with their given tasks, so she made her way towards the queens chambers to present her self to the new queen. She walked through the endless corridors seeing all the beautiful tapestries hanging from the walls, when she came to the familiar wooden chamber door she knocked loudly making sure her presence would be known from inside the room, yet she received no answer in return. she knocked a second then a third and fourth time, yet each time received no reply. She wondered if she should enter the room, as something could have happened to the queen herself if she was alone, however if she did enter she could the face the risk of being disciplined as if someone is in there she had not been invited in and therefore her action of going in would be seen as rude. However checking the Queen is well is all that truly matters, so Jane went on to open the door when she entered she was met with an empty room. The absence of anyone in the room worried Jane as there was no word of the Queen having been travelling the Castle. Jane made sure to check every inch of the Queen's chambers just in case for some strange reason the Queen was hiding. When Jane decided she would notify the guards of the absence of the queen, she suddenly heard the door behind her open, she turned and was met with the sight of Queen Anne herself. When Anne noticed the person in her room she jumped in fright against the wooden door, she recognised the women from somewhere yet she could not fully recall where.
She slowly pushed herself up from the door making sure to keep the young girl in front of her in her line of sight.
"Excuse me but may I ask why exactly are you in my chambers?" Asked Anne with a hint of annoyance in her tone

"I'm so sorry your highness, I am here to serve you as one of your ladies, I knocked more than once when I received no reply I became worried for your safety so entered, I apologise for my behaviour"

Anne continued to stare, that smiled at the younger woman " Don't worry it is fine, I was just shocked that was all I apologise if I may have scared you."

Jane was stunned she did not expect such a reply from the Queen who she had heard terrible stories about, all she could do was smile then shake her head in reply to the Queen's question."

Well I updated :) thanks for waiting! I haven't checked grammatical errors I will later but I thought that I would just provide you with an update. So I hope that people are still reading this if not I completely understand as I'm not the best writer aha. Anyways to those that do still read my work thank you so much it means a lot :) a new update will be coming shortly. And thanks again for those of you who are reading :)
