Since he was a child, Ryu always hated waking early in the morning. School was nothing more then a torture for him.

But he absolutely had to this time. It was his job to investigate for proofs around the school early in the morning. It was around 8:oo am at monday morning that the black haired detective arrived at the school. It was practically empty, regarding the fact that classes start around 9:00 pm. Only few rushing students were to be seen. Unfortunately, he had to interrogate Kokona and Saki's  teacher named Hana, who wasn't disponible for the moment. 

The only thing to do for the young man was to investigate the place. Shibuya's high school was a very modern cubicle school with three floors and a graveyard in the middle for student"s lunchtime. It had plenty of clubs, a gymnase, a running field, a pool, and a tiny garden all in the school's backyard. The most interesting place would have been the garden, it was the gardening club who possess it, and it was the only one who worked with material of high risk potential, such as chainsaws and axes. So it was natural for him to go there.

He walked a fey hundred meters outside the school to go there, emptiness and a gust of wind had taken the place. He finally achieved the garden, which contained many vegetables and fruits, most of them carrots and cabbages. Again no one was to be seen. He turned around, a wood shed got his attention; The door was mid-open, and gave a wide look at the inside; Many tools on shells and a massive red chainsaw.

He was about to reach the door, when a cheerful  young feminine broke the silence

- Who are you?

Ryu turned back and saw a very pretty slim asian girl, with giants black eyes and a skin as pale as a ghost, wearing the seifuku, a school uniform. Taken by her studying beauty, he weakly responded;

-Who,...Who are you?...

She chuckled with a cute smile.

- My First name's Ayano, sorry, have we seen each other before?

- Well, I gotta say, I'm quite popular around here! My name is officer Amake. Nice to meet you. I am doing some investigations around here, and you, what are you doing here, so close to the classes beginning?

-Yes, I've seen you at the news, *sigh*....Poor girls, there were both my two BEST friends!

She looked down at the grass. Ryu was feeling bad for making her this way, he didn't know she was their best friends, nor Ryu wasn't very good with the notion of feelings neither. He got flustered:

- I'm... deeply sorry, I didn't wanted to....

He looked ate the single sakura tree standing in the backyard. Yes it was indeed beautiful, even if sakura trees were very common around the school, this one was special, alone, giant it got the men's nostalgia from his past. After a few moments he went back to the teenager who was still standing there.

- We call it the confession tree, one day, I'll declare my true love for my senpai!

- And... who's your senpai?

The girl immediately took a few steps back with terrorized eyes, she was suddenly acting strangely and shook from all her body members.

- WHAT'S ARE YOU TALKIN' ABOUT!?!? I'VE NEVER TALKED ABOUT A SENPAI!?!? WHO IS HE!?! WHERE IS HE!?!?

She ran away. Ryu tried to catch her back

-Wait, hold on! I didn't wanted to...

But nothing, he was alone. again.
