“Y-you’re lying, you have to be.” I said softly, but he only pulled me closer.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…” He muttered as he pulled me closer.
“B-but how?” I asked. He shook his head.
“You were taken away before we could save you.”
“We?”
“Yes. Our parents.”
“But they hated me…”
“Why would you think that? After your Rinnegan got activated and you killed seven S-rank criminals, you immediately got shipped out by the village leader. We couldn’t do anything. Our parents wanted to save you when we got attacked by Konoha ninjas and they killed our parents.” My eyes widened.
“A-and you?” He took a step back and stared into my eyes.
“That’s when my Rinnegan was unleashed.”
“Y-you killed them?” He nodded and messed up my hair.
“But let’s move away from all the sobby, depressing things. You’re Paths need reviving, yes?” I looked down sadly and nodded.
“They died protecting me. Kamiko was to strong, to smart, she used our eye bond against us. She’s a real devil.” He nodded.
“I can see why she was the warden.” I shrugged.
“How do you revive your Paths if Naraka has died?” He smiled.
“This is where the hard part comes.”
“Hard part?” He nodded.
“If I’m right, then when you first summoned your Paths, they were all ‘alive’ and had their chakra receivers, so you didn’t ‘make’ them originally like me.” I nodded.
“But what do you mean by ‘make them originally’?”
“I had to take dead bodies, give them receivers, and like revive them myself. It was hard and it took months to revive a single one. But I was young at the time and I wasn’t very strong. You, on the other hand, can possibly do this quickly, but still take time.” I frowned. What? “We better get started then…”
