"You ready?" Jeff asked me. I nod and grab the last of my bags. It's not that we have much. We didn't have much clothes, so there was a single trash bag filled with everything. Jeff was carrying the binder I had transformed to hold all of the knives we had, and look like a regular binder, and I had a bag full of my make up and a laptop case.
"Yeah," I nodded. "There is a car waiting for us down the road."
"How did you just come across a car?" He said, his expression going angry. I knew I should clear it up before he got upset. I rolled my eyes at his excessive anger, which I could feel rolling off of him in waves.
"Relax, oh great Jeff The Killer," I laughed, knowing it would piss him off. "There's no one left to miss it."
He didn't say anything after that.
We got everything into the vehicle and started down the road. Jeff was driving, so that left me free to do whatever in the passenger seat. I smiled as My plans for the town that screwed me over went through my head.
I couldn't wait to see all the people I use to hang out with. It would be hilarious to see their faces once they saw who I've become.
My body was tingling with the excitement of potential victims. I could barely hold it in. Once we started on the highway, going through a wooded area, I asked Jeff to pull over.
"Get out of the car," I said. I walked into the tree line a bit, enough to hide from the few other cars.
"Del, what the fuck are you doing?" Jeff said impatiently. He was getting pissed. I was already dragging him back to our old town and now I was doing this. Oh well. He can deal with it.
"Okay, I need you to beat me up. Give me a few bruises, and cut me up," I smiled. He looked confused for a second, but then proceeded to do what I had asked, not giving up the opportunity.
Jeff punched me in the stomach and across the face. He then took his and slid it across my cheek and arm. I just stood there, trying to make the assault look real.
It wasn't working though. I was still smiling.
"That's enough," I nodded. "You go on ahead until you reach the town. I'm gonna pass the time on this little road trip."
"Whatever," he shrugged.
I waited about twenty minutes after he left, and I waited till I saw an oncoming car.
"Help me!" I screamed while running into the road. I put as much pain and fear into my voice, suppressing the excitement.
The car swerved and stopped just as it was about to hit me. I fell in front of the car for effect.
I women got out of the car, and ran to me.
"Oh! Oh my god! Are you okay?" She said, trying to help me stand up. "What happened?"
I hurried my breathing, adding a stutter to my speech. This girl was so stupid!
"I-I don't kn-know!" I yelled, producing fake sobs. "I was driving, and- and someone jumped me! He-he attacked me and dragged me into the woods!"
"Okay, okay," She nodded, leading me to the car. "I can drive you to the police station. I don't have any signal to call. Do you have a cell phone?"
"I-I do but I dropped it," I said. "I can go get it. Will you come with me?"
I was clutching her arm, looking at her pleadingly, and pulling her towards the woods.
She looked at me sympathetically. "Yeah, I'll come with you."
I slowly walked to the trees, looking around the ground, putting on the effect of me searching for a phone.
We continued to walk further into the tree line. I let go of her arm, and she stepped away, scanning the ground.
I kept one eye on her and another at the road. Once we were far enough away from the highway, she was still searching, not aware of how far we had travelled.
I reached into my pocket where my knife was. Good, it was still there.
As I walked up behind her, she heard my feet crunch the leaves beneath me. The girl turned around and smiled.
"Did you find your phone?"
I smiled and was still slowly stepping forward. Her face dropped, and she realised what was happening. It was too late though, she had already backed into a tree.
"What the hell?" She said, attempting to run. She was stupid to run, but not to stupid to realise my intentions.
Before she could get to far, I grabbed her shoulder, pushed her back, and stabbed her in the stomach.
"Hasn't anyone ever told you not to trust strangers?" I whispered. She started to scream, but I placed my second hand, not hold the knife, over her mouth. She slid to the ground, and I pulled my knife out of her stomach.
She was still whimpering in pain, and I laughed at it. Why do people do that? Its an annoying, high-pitched noise that doesn't do anything.
"Who are you? Why are you doing this?" She said, looking up at me.
"My name is Delilah, and for why I'm doing this, I felt like it," I responded right as I finished her off by slicing her neck. The blood flowed freely, and I smiled. My excitement was subdued, and I let out a deep breath.
Realizing I would have to clean this up alone, I was slightly annoyed, but I got over it and did the job. Once I grabbed her keys, I picked up her body and carried it more into the forest, finding a little cliff to push her over. No one would find her for a while.
Once I got back to her car, I sat down in the driver's seat and looked around. I had blood on my hands, so I grabbed the conveniently placed water bottled, opened the door, and poured the water over each hand, washing it off. Next, I did the same with my knife.
Perfect.
I drove up the road, and didn't hit another town for thirty minutes. Knowing Jeff, I pulled into the first back road I saw, and found an old self-storage warehouse. Sure enough, the car I had taken from the old town was parked.
When I got out of the car, Jeff was leaning against the hood, looking incredibly pissed off.
"What the fuck, Delilah?! You had me wait for over a fucking hour just so you could go on a little joy-spree?" He scream, his teeth clenched. I looked at him, and realized what I did was a dick move, but I was sure he also had a little fun while I did my thing.
"Jeff, I'm sure you didn't just sit and wait the entire time. Where did that blood come from?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I watched as his anger dissipated, and his usual smirk returned.
"Del, you're such a bitch," he smiled, letting me know it wasn't serious. I smiled, walked up to him, and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"And that's why you love me," I said, knowing how conceited it was. I didn't care. We both smiled, and looked at each other.
I was getting sick of the waiting, so I leaned forward and kissed him. We made out for a few minutes, and it reminded me of how we met. I smiled as we pulled away. Jeff laid his head on my shoulder, and wrapped his arms around my waist. We stood there in silence for a few minutes, until we decided to get back into the car.
"What about that?" Jeff asked, pointing to the other vehicle I had driven.
"I'll drive behind you, and we can push it into the first lake we see," I said.
We did as planned, only having to drive an hour before we got rid of the extra car.
The rest of the car ride went as expected, filled with boredom and small talk.
At some point I had fallen asleep. I woke up to Jeff shaking my shoulder, alerting me to the fact that we had arrived.
I looked around at the familiar site. I was never the nostalgic one, but being home gave me a feeling. It was a mix of excitement and impatience. I hated these people in here, and I was happy that I would get to repay them for what they did to me.
