First Day of School Look^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"BYE MOM! MADALYN HURRY UP! I DON'T WANNA BE LATE!"
"I'm coming," she hollered as she picked her backpack up and slug it over her shoulder.
I was waiting by the front door with my car keys in hand. I couldn't wait to see the reactions I would get from everyone, especially Nicole. I darted out the door in my orange wedges and opened the garage door. After unlocking the car, we climbed in and took off down the road.
As we pulled into the school parking lot, I saw a open spot and drove over to it before anyone else could snag it. We got out the car and grabbed our things. I went straight to the office to pick up our schedules.
"Hello! Are you here for your schedules?"
"Yes ma'am. Madalyn Paige Hamilton and Julianna Ivy Hamilton," I told her as she flipped through the H's.
"Ah hah. Here you go! I think your brother was in here already this morning. Have a great day!"
She handed over the papers and we thanked her. As I was pointing out where Madalyn needed to be for first period, Nicole walked over.
"Who are you?"
"Julianna Ivy Hamilton."
"No, did she pay you so say that," she said laughing.
I pulled my drivers license out and showed it to her. Her laughter ceased instantly.
"Ugh! You're such a trust fund baby!"
"Is that supposed to be an insult?"
"Duh. How stupid are you?"
"I could be asking you the same thing. And actually, I get a's in all my classes. Maybe if you used your brai-, wait you don't have one. Let me rephrase that, if you go and get a brain, and actually use it, maybe you would learn a thing or two."
"Bitch!"
"Is that really all you have?"
"Ugh," she screamed right before slapping me across the face.
I grabbed her hair and pulled her to the floor, where I returned a slap. People began to crowd around us yelling 'girl fight'.
"Do that again and you'll never see the end of it."
I stood up and took my bag from Madalyn. Chase spotted me and took off running down the hall in our direction. Nicole stood up and brushed herself off. She caught a glimpse of Chase as he slowed down.
"Hey cutie," she told him.
"Thanks. Wish I could say the same to you. But you're not cute, you're just a girl that slaps on makeup."
