After we compared schedules they went to their dorms. Somehow out of crazy luck, Tori and I got put in the same dorm.

Gabe wasn't in a very good mood on our way to our dorms. Me and Tori might have gotten to be in the same dorm but Gabe and Shawn are on different ends of the hallway. But at least they had most of their classes together since they were both studying culinary arts.

When I walked in the dorm it wasn't quite what I expected. The walls were painted a deep ocean blue and the door was oak, but you couldn't let the appearance fool you. Just then I heard a deep voice through the thin walls. After it stopped talking it was deadly quiet for a minute or two. Me and Tori looked at each other for a moment and then burst out laughing. We immediately stopped when we heard a light tapping at our door.

"Whom might that be rapping, tap, tapping at my chamber door?" Tori said in a playful deep voice.

"Shut up, your majoring in art not philosophy" I said to Tori, making sure to sound absolutely ridiculous while saying it. After I said that there was immediately another knock on the door, a little louder than the last but still not loud enough to seem rude.

"Excuse me?" The deep voice from the other room sounded.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I'll be right there!" I called out, I can't believe we had already forgotten about the knock at the door already. I walked over to the door and opened it, I immediately froze in place. He stood there looking down at his papers as if my face didn't scream my thoughts. He was taller then me, he looked around 6'2 or something. His hair was a bit long so his dark brown hair fell over his eyes. His plain black v-neck shirt showed off his toned biceps. He was wearing faded jeans and boots that looked to be docs.

"I'm Van, your dorm room advisor. I would like to make sure you are settling in well and..." He stretched the last word out as he carefully pulled two sheets out of his stack of multi colored papers, "here is a list of the dorm rules." He said this as he looked up for the first time.

"Ella?"

"Van!" He pulled Ella into a bear hug as Tori walked up with a confused expression.

"Wai-wai-wai-wait... You know each other?" Tori looked like her mind had just blown.

"Uh yeah... Van was the first person I met when I lived in Florida. He lived a couple blocks down, we met at the beach near our neighborhood. He was a few grades above me but we were still good friends." I said with a big smile. We talked a little more until Van had to go. He said he had to go greet a few more students.
Since classes won't start for a few days me and Tori stayed up, decorated, and watched movies. It was a good night.

A/N I obviously don't write often, but when I do, I put all my heart into it (even though it doesn't look like it by the way the story turns out) but I try my best! So yaaay! Finally done with chapter 2 and I can't wait to start on chapter 3. I know its kinda boring (really boring) but I've gotta start somewhere, right?
