15. i like you

Connor's pov:

I bought me and troye some donuts and when I opened the hotel room door I saw troye waking up.
"Connie you bought donuts ? Aww omg ty !" He said, he sounded so sleepy but also very excited about the donuts.

In the afternoon we didn't really do anything, I edited some pictures I took yesterday and troye wrote in his notebook. Everything was so calm and perfect. I grabbed the 2 concert tickets for tonight and walked over to troye.

"I have a suprise for you !"I said and I put my hands over troye's eyes.
"Connaah I can't see anything."
I giggled, wow really troye that's the point of me covering your eyes with my hands.
"Guess !"
"Are we going on our third date ?!"
Troye asked.

Everytime he talked about going on a date I wished it was a real date and I always get upset over it.
"Kinda, now open you eyes"
I removed my hands and showed him the tickets for alessia's concert tonight.
"ARE. YOU. SERIOUS ?" Troye screamed and jumped up and down.
"Thank you thank you thank you ty !"

Troye fixed his hair and we then we were ready to leave. It was 10 minutes walking so we didn't use the car.

Troye's PoV:

We arrived at the venue and the first thing we noticed that there were a lot of lgbtq+ couples and it was the cutest thing ever.
"See, you're safe here, people accept you for who you are."
I said to Connor and he gave me a little smile. The doors opened and Connor grabbed my hand so we wouldn't lose each other.

We were in and the light went out. I lost Connor. I started panicking and looking around but I couldn't see anything.
The lights turned back on and alessia came on stage. And then I saw Connor, also looking for me. I pushed everyone away and grabbed Connor's hand.
"Now don't let go. "
I said and we started dancing to her music while holding hands.
The concert ended and we went outside, then things got ugly...

It was late and con and I were still holding hands when a 35 years old man walks up to us and pushed Connor so hard he fell on the ground and hit his head.
"You fucking ugly gays ! Can you not do that when I'm around its disgusting!"
I looked at Connor who was in shock and he just stared at the man.
"Leave us the fuck alone."
I said but the guy didn't leave.

He went over to Connor, grabbed his arm and said:" your parents must be VERY proud of you ! You know you ruined their lives right, with being gay ? Nobody likes you."
Connor got tears in his eyes and you could see the man just totally broke him. I had no words for this.
"Leave or I'll call the fucking cops !"
I yelled and the man ran away.
I offered Connor my hand and helped him get up. We walked to the beach where he collapsed, my heart broke.

"Nobody likes me troye ! He's right, I'll be all alone if I stay like this, my parents hate me and I don't even blame them I'm disgusting !" He yelled and started crying his eyes out.
"Listen Connor." I said and grabbed his face.
"No troye it won't be okay in the end, nobody fucking likes me I..."

I took a deep breath.

"Connor stop saying nobody likes you bc I like you, I like you so fucking much okay ? I like that you always call me an idiot, I like your green dreamy eyes, I like your lips even tho you barely have them."
he giggled at my comment about his lips and looked me in the eyes.
"I like your face, I like your adorable little laugh, I like your hugs and the fact that you never want to let go, I like it when we're together, I like going on adventures with you."

I paused.

"I like you Connor, I just want you to be happy."
Connor placed his hand on my cheek and gave me a kiss on my lips.
"I like you too, I like you so much you idiot." I rested my head on his shoulder and we were both smiling like crazy.
