Summary | Its Hallowe'en and Julian decides to throw a costume party. Some are frightened of the prospect though. So, when the Daleks decide the gate crash the party asking them to hand over the Doctor and his children, what will everyone do?

"A party?" Lilac questioned, not an ounce of excitement in her tone. It was clear that she disliked the idea of them. Julian knew that too well about his sister.

"Yes, a party." He clarified, a hint of authority in his tone. The eldest Saunders knew that she would back down, even if its just a little bit. "And not just any party, a costume party!" He had to the most excited out of the two. Lilac nearly dropped her hot chocolate at his body language. He was bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"I still think its a bad idea," she pressed after a moment's silence. She took a sip of her warm drink, turning her gaze away from him. A little dreamy smile aligned her lips as Leonardo came into her line of version. Julian, who saw this, smiled slightly.

"What if I told you that I'm considering Leon to do the decorations?" He used his casual tone as to not arose suspicion. Lilac turned back to her brother and stared at him as though contemplating what he had just suggested.

"Hm," she pursed her lips in thought. Her walls of defence were slowly crumbling, he could tell by this mere action alone. Julian wasn't asking permission (this was his house after all) but confirmation that she was going to be social.

"I'm inviting the gang over too," he added in a rush. Lilac's eyebrows shot up in curiosity. "And just the gang. No big suits or whatever you call them will be attending. It shall be laid back." He knew how his sister felt about the big shots (as she called them). She found them boring and beyond help. Plus their conversation sounded too egotistic for her taste.

"Hm, alright." She finally decided, her tone still unsure. Whenever she got an awful feeling it stuck with her forever. Even her brother knew that. Julian softly kissed her forehead and strolled over to the door leading into the hallway. The canopy of natural light leading his way. The conservatory was Lilac's favourite part of the house and a usually haunt for her.
