Chapter 6

Amelia's POV

Finally lunch, I loved lunch. I get to read and eat food! I walked in the cafeteria and waited in line.
I got my food tray and sat down.
I sit by myself during lunch since I have no friends. I really don't mind, it's better being all by myself.

I took out my book and put on my reading glasses and started eating and reading. I started eating faster, the book started getting good but I was suddenly interrupted. Someone slammed my book in my food causing my food to go all over me and my book.
I screamed and look up and see... Noah?!

He stared at me with a serious face and small smile, his friends were all laughing next to him.

"You are in my seat." he said.

I look up wiping the food off my glasses and look at my book. It was destroyed, it was full of food. I let a little tear fall from my eyes.

"You heard him get out of our seat." one of his friends says while the others laugh along.

I look up and meet eyes with Noah, he tried ignoring my stare by looking anywhere but my eyes. With that I get up grabbing my book and run out of the cafeteria getting so many stares.

I go to the only place that can relax me, the library.

I ran in there getting stared at from students who were studying. My favorite librarian took me in a little room and talked to me.
"Oh my!What happened?" she said trying to take off all the food that was stuck in my hair.
"Nothing I fell and I dropped all my food on myself." I said.
I showed her my book that was destroyed.
"I am so sorry but I also kinda destroyed your book." I said starting to cry.
"Oh no no! it was accident I have many other copies ill let you get another one just throw that one away okay?" she said.
She took off all the food that was on my hair and gave me a sweater.
"Here. I found it in the lost and found. Your shirt unfortunately is ruined. Just wear this over it to hide it." I smiled and said thank you. The bell rang just after that. I put on my sweater and walked out.

I put my hair on the side combing it with my fingers.

I could hear people whispering and I could feel their stares.

Finally school was over.
I walked out and sat on the grass.

I heard laughing and giggling. I look up to see Noah's group of friends who were laughing at me.
The girls in the group rolled their eyes and giggled.
"Hey I think you still have a little food on your face." Matt said while laughing and walking away with his friends.
I stare at the floor quietly waiting for my older brother.
I have been waiting here for 40 minutes are you serious?

I put my hair in a pony tail and decide to walk it home.
"Amelia!"

I look around only to see Noah running after me.

"Amelia! I am so sorry I can expla- I cut him off by turning around and looking down.

"Amelia..."

"Can you please leave me alone Noah. I get it." I said looking at him straight in the eyes.

"Amelia I - I didn't mean to...let me at least give you a ride... please." he said looking at me with those big blue eyes of his.

"No! Just please leave me alone. I won't tell Tommy anything just leave me alone alright?" I said walking away.

Once I got home I ran upstairs. I went straight to my room. No one was home my parents left to a vacation for their anniversary and my brother well my brother I don't really know where he is.
I heard noises outside my room. I opened my door and see a girl? coming out of my brother room.
"I'll text you." she says smiling.
Ew! I close the door softly and just sit in my bed quietly. Oh Tommy. Why Tommy. Why?
"You better!" I hear Tommy say.
Ew what a night.
