The Girl He Never Noticed

Chapter 5

I woke up with a big smile on my face.
Yesterday was amazing!
Noah was so nice to me, I wonder why.

I was nervous to go back to school today, I mean Noah and his friends were at my house.

I decided to curl my hair today, I usually don't do anything to it but today I wanted to.
I curled the ends of my hair so my hair would be in nice soft curls.

I smiled at myself liking how my curls came out. I looked at my closet and decided to wear a long sleeve top with some pants and some boots.

I ran downstairs and bumped into my brother.
"Hey watch it!- he stopped talking and started looking at me.
"What happened? Why all of the sudden you decide to actually dress like a girl." he looked at me curiously and I looked down.
I usually wear sweats and big sweaters for school, I mean there is no point of dressing up.
"I wanted to feel pretty.." I said honestly.
He looked at me with a awe face.
"Amelia! don't say that okay? you are pretty even when you dress up like a guy." he laughed at the end which ended up with me punching his arm "thanks man." I said smiling.
I put on a nice coat and decided to head out.
Tommy gave me a ride.
I was nervous walking into school.

Of course I was early. I sat on a bench and put on my reading glasses and started reading.
"Hey can I sit here?"

I froze and nodded my head, I continued to read even though I felt uncomfortable.

"You really like books huh?"

I look up only to meet eyes with the one and only... Noah. I blushed and looked down.

"Oh hey." I said blushing.
He laughed and looked at me.

"What time did you leave my house?" I said.

"We actually left right when I went downstairs."

"Oh" I said messing with a strand of my hair.

"Um.. well I have to go,I'll see you around." he said walking away.

I looked up and see him with his group of guy friends and some girls. The girls were all over him, giving him hugs and kissing his cheek.
I stood up and walked away.

Noah's POV

I walked away from Tommy's little sister. She was really nice to talk to. I met up with my friends and said hey.
Of course Ana and Lisa decide to hug and kiss me unexpectedly.
"Watch it." I said to them, they giggled and walked to other guys from my group.
I look up to check on Amelia and see her getting her stuff and walking away.

"Hey man I saw you talking to her. what's going on" Nick asked putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Nothing? why?" I asked.

"I don't know man, what's going on with you and dork face." he said laughing at his own joke.

I felt my face get warm.
"Nothing." I said and walked away.

"Oh no, you like her huh?" he said laughing.

"I don't! Look at her why would I like her?" I said getting mad.

Nick just laughed "Prove it then" he said smiling ear to ear.
