Flashback to 7 months ago
My sister and I run through the house getting ready for our dates, a boy she just started talking to and a guy I hung out with before. My phone is playing Ludacris as i get out of the shower and the music stops to show me an incoming call..
Call- from Cody M.
I answer "hello?, oh hey cutie"
Cody"I should be there in about 20 minutes, be ready or im leaving"
I could hear him smirking in his voice. "See ya soon, attractive."
-Click-Dial tone-
i sit there on the edge of my sink smiling like an idiot. Stephanie my sister yells and says something i cant understand, i think she wanted the music back on. I put on a pair of yoga pants and a pink tank top then dry my blue hair and put it in a quick fish tale braid. i put mascara and lip gloss on then Matt (My sisters date) is at the door. I tell him "She'll be out in a minute, just make yourself at home" pointing to the couch. 10 minutes later Codys at my door knocking and i greet him then sit on the couch with Stephanie and Matt.
Cody puts his arm around me and i blush a little. Stephanie puts on the movie Hostile then we sit and watch. Cody pulls me on his lap and I hide my face in his neck or chest during the gorey parts and pretend to be scared and he comforted me. It was a great night that concluded in us four all sitting in Codys car talking and breathing as the air got smokey with the smell of burning cannabis.
Cody"this is some good shit, try it" -Blows smoke in my face
Me in thought, "i wonder if he knows how nervous i am. I dont know why i like him so much but my stomich is going insane with butterflies" i wonder what hes thinking, is this just gonna be a one time thing? Is this gonna last? What if he isnt into me? I dont know.
An hour or so later Steph and Matt go back inside leaving us in the car. Once the smoke clears out i can see Codys face again, His brown hair and blue eyes somewhat green towards the center, his think plump lips, his perfect nose and chin. I wish i could kiss him. I lick my lips and he leans closer, he is inches from my face and i can smell his minty breath from the gum he just spit out. He kisses my nose, then my cheek, then very slowly he leans down and kisses my lips softly-slowly cupping my face in his warm hand, i let a small moan excape my mouth and i feel him smiling through our kiss. I pull back and he interlocks our fingers. He opens his door then gets out and comes to my side to open mine. i step out and he holds his hand on my lower back. I can hear my sister and Matt in the house having sex. I wish they would be quieter. They barely know eachother. Cody puts on some soft country music and lays on the front of his car and tells me to come sit next to him. i get up and he puts his arm around me kissing my forehead. As Cody and I listen to Blake Sheldon and look up at the stars over the corn feilds my stomach settles and i wonder if life could get any better than this.
