Zayn's POV:

I bit back a laugh at the incredulous looks on Liam's, Viola's and Lila's faces as Autumn and Harry sassed them about Josh but I couldn't help but worry in the back of my head about where Josh was. If he wasn't here then where was he? And where was Niall for that matter?

I hadn't seen Niall since this afternoon when he walked out of the house with a very shifty wave and an uninterested call of goodbye. He had quaffed his hair up nicely and I remember walking past him and smelling a whiff of cologne about his person. Niall never dressed up nicely unless; unless he too had found his perfect other half.

Niall's POV: 

I smiled across the picnic mat and fed the vampire that was sat across from me and chocolate strawberry, smearing the chocolate across his lips and leaning in to kiss it away softly away. His lips twisted up into a perfect smile beneath me and the hand that wasn't propping himself up beneath him reached forward and locked itself in my hair tugging me closer and he kissed me back hard. His tongue pushed itself into my mouth and wrapped itself around mine sucking ever so lightly. I closed my eyes and tugged at his brunette locks earning a guttural moan, deep in the back of his throat. Our tongues danced sloppily around for a few moments before I pulled away and rested my head against his and looked into eyes.

"Let’s not get too excited" I whispered panting looking into his eyes that were blossoming dark with lust and love, his pupils had grown wider until they were almost as big as his irises.

He smirked and moved his head so that his lips brushed against my ear, his warm breath making the hairs on my neck and stand up. "Maybe I want it to go further, do you?"

He pulled back and moved both his hands so that they were wrapped around my neck and as I looked into his beautiful brown eyes I knew that I wanted to. That this is what I had wanted ever since I had run into him on that faithful day two months ago. I nodded and his face lit up and he smiled and hugged me close and pressed a soft kiss to my neck before pushing me down and straddling my waist and leant down to kiss me. I closed my eyes and waited for his soft lips to land on mine but they didn't come. I opened my eyes to see him just sat there on his haunches looking down at me with adoration written in his eyes.

"Hey" I complained and his eyes snapped up to look at mine and he smiled before leaning down and pressed his lips to mine and moved his against mine slowly and lovingly. He looked down on me with clear eyes.

"We'll take this slow" he murmured against my lips and I could feel his cool fingertips on my skin under my shirt making reassuring circles on my hips.
