Chapter 1: MECHAN

"That's all there is to it doctor....... "
I replied.........

" I get it... So basically you don't remember anything thats related to your past.." . She said in a thoughtful manner.....
Meanwhile I was busy noticing her.
She was gorgeous...... I could easily tell that she had a good exercise schedule and diet chart as her figure was perfectly toned.

(Ps...... don't think I'm a pervert..... I am just an admirer of beauty.... )

Hairs like golden fleece, were riding the breeze smoothly.... that came from a nearby window.....
Her emerald green eyes covered by carefully trimmed eyelashes.... we're busy scanning the notes she prepared from my narration.....

Her skin was fair and smooth and.....

My thought were interrupted....... When she asked me.....

"Do you remember anything about the MECHAN that tried to destroy you....?

Why did it came after you.....?

Have you seen it before .......? "

By hearing the word MECHAN I gave a puzzled look that was enough for her to know that I had lost all memories of what happened in the last 13 years......

"Retrograde amnesia"...... She spoke out........
Seeing the dumb look on my face, she was a bit annoyed.... But finally she explained......

"In layman's language.... Your memories are locked inside your brain.... They will make their way back to your conscience slowly.... Don't chase your memories or block the flow..... Let it pass smoothly..... "

.... I asked with a tint of hesitation in my voice....

" What.... should I do now....? . "

"I mean I don't know anybody here...
I don't know anything about me as well..... So what do you suggest I should do.....? "

She said in a professional manner but I detected a few notes of sarcasm in her voice as well.....

"Normally memories of patients suffering from Retrograde amnesia... return.....in a week or two... If it does we will discharge you and you are free to leave..... But If it doesn't.... Then I am afraid you'll be our guest for long time.......... "

She moved around as her curves made a beautiful arch.....

"I'd loved to stay here...... If I can see you everyday"
I thought.......

While I was dreaming roses and lilies blooming all around me.....
I saw the hospital television......... hanging on one of the corners..... I got the remote under my cushion.....

"Well at least I'll not get bored...... "

I pressed the button and the dead screen suddenly throbbed to life......

I switched to the news option directly to find out what's happening around me........ I needed to update myself as fast as possible......

A guy in blue shirt with half sleeves
and black jeans with a tie loosely attached around his neck spoke......

"This is Mike Williams reporting live from Eclipse Arena........

Today we will witness one of the most devastating and blood chilling battles that has ever occurred in MECHAN History...... "

I was again surprised to hear the word MECHAN.....but I focused my attention back to the TV.....

"The champion who had won the last four years MECHAN duels will face the prodigy...... Yes the teenager who in just 12 years had mastered the art of MECHAN duels and has defeated many players and past champions...... He says he will destroy the record of our current champion along with his MECHAN.......

So come to witness the match, because for the first time, this match is being held in our dome ...... Bear witness of the epic battle that will decide who will become the ultimate champion and protector of our world......."
And
with that the TV program ended.....creating more chaos in my mind than I had before
So I switched it off......

"MECHAN,....... MECHAN. What the hell is this MECHAN........ And what was he blabbering about becoming protector the world...... Has everybody gone nuts.......
Or am I missing something........"

( Oh hello..... genius..... You have forgotten what happened for the last thirteen years and then you are thinking that you are missing something )

Ahem...... I mean the doctor once again entered my chamber and slammed a book on the table.....

"This might help you to pass the time........ This book has everything on
MECHAN and what's happening now a days................ "
She was speaking and I was noticing her pink and delicate lips......

"Snap out.....!!!!!! "

She growled...... Waking me up from my daydreams..

"Sorry....... mam"... "Miss." ...."Doctor"... I mean......"
my tongue rolled inside my mouth and I felt extremely embarrassed......

She rolled her eyes and went outside.

"Great geneous you angered a hot girl........ But she was looking good..... Even then . "

I slapped my face......

"Focus...... focus...."

I picked up the book..... It was a heavy one with a pale yellow cover that bore the title

All you know about MECHAN.......
....

"Alright" as my eyes sparkled.... ." I required this only...... Now I'll go through it and perhaps in the process I'll regain some of my memories......... "..........

Who knew I was in for a surprise......
