Everybody Knows

Chap 1.

Lilianne's POV

 I remember everything and how it transpired. I was coming out of my drama club meeting. I'm the president of the club and lead role for the school play so I'm obligated to go. The meeting finished at five thirty because we were all discussing costumes and the construction of the sets. Saying my good byes, I quickly exited the school and headed to the parking lot. I saw Zander Segovia Woodville High's star player exiting the soccer field. He was too busy texting that he didn't notice the oncoming car. If was as if everything went by with slow motion. The Black SUV couldn't stop his speeding and when he did it was too late. The gruesome sight as Zander's body went flying in the air and landed on the floor with a thud. His legs all twisted making it look like a pretzel, blood seeping from a head wound, scratches all over his face and arms. It's as if he was transforming into a different creature but stopped in mid process. I dropped my purse and quickly ran to Zander's motionless body. I took hold of  his wrist trying to find a pulse but it was a faint one. I started giving him mouth to mouth and since I couldn't get him to breather I dialed 911.

911 Operator: "Hello what is your emergency?"

Lilianne: "Hello, um.. a schoolmate just got hit by a car. His legs are broken, his breathing is shallow and he is bleeding from his head wound."

911 Operator: "Ma'm tell me what street you are  on."

Lilianne: "We're on 412 Pamona Road."

911 Operator: "An ambulance is on the way, just continue giving the man CPR."

Lilianne: "Okay,thank you."

 I hung up and continued giving Zander mouth to mouth. In my head I'm having a panic attack but on the outside I appear strong,cool,calm and collected. I heard the sirens nearing to where I was kneeling on the ground.
