*Finn and Delvin*

A/N: Fun story of the day, I had an amazing moment in a library last week on work experience, the face claim for Finn is King Arthur from Merlin and I was sorting through the kids' books and on the front of one of the books was a huge pic of him and I automatically thought of Finn and this fanfiction. Just felt like sharing that with you, Ok read on :)

Her head rest against his shoulder, steady breathing urging soft movements from below where her head lay, and the accompanying sounds soothing her sedentary mood. It was perfect. The wind whistles lullabies overhead, and rain-littered leaves danced to the ground, glittering in dusk rays. The woods were almost silent, Greywind's low gravel-breathing was the only sound not distant to Raina, as her hand entangled itself amongst his fur, and felt his steady pulse beneath her palm; lying against Robb, who kept her close and wrapped in his strong arms. This was what she had always dreamt about, just lying with him, peaceful for a blink of a second.

Another wolf had joined them, nuzzling into Robb's side and still cautious of Raina's presence, but not so that she wouldn't venture near the Glover girl from time to time. Nymeria, Robb had called her, Arya's Direwolf - he said Arya would be happy to know she was still alive, and that she hadn't been hunted or killed since she was set free all those years ago. Robb also suggested that, until they discover Arya's whereabouts, Raina should take care of Nymeria, as the Direwolf always liked having an owner and Raina would be a good one at that. How they were to sneak a huge Direwolf through the gates of Winterfell without her betrothed seeing, Raina didn't know, but she liked the fantasy. She also liked the idea of Arya being reunited with her beloved friend after so long, and that until that time comes Raina would be doing her best to keep Arya's pet safe for her.

"How is this real?" Raina mused with a smile, keeping herself close to Robb at all times, to ensure she would not let him go again. "How is what real?" Robb asked with a laugh, his body trembling as the chuckles surged up his throat. "You--" Was all Raina had time to say before noises interrupted the serenity of the moment. "That wasn't funny." Snapped a stern voice, as laughter resonated around it in complete amusement. A laugh Raina knew too well. "Yes it was - You should have seen your face," Laughed the second voice, one that was still reacting to what Raina presumed had been a hilarious prank pulled by the older of the two. She let out an exasperated sigh and pulled herself away from Robb and back into reality. "Boys." She rolled her eyes, looking at Robb who maintained a smile on his bearded face. "It wouldn't be right without us," He quipped, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Delvin, Finn, I'm over here!" She called out with some sense of annoyance lingering in her tone, at the thought of losing a precious moment with Robb that could have otherwise lasted a little longer had her brothers not intruded. She could hear faint voices between the pair before she spotted them. Delvin wore the same brown leathers he always did, complimenting his dark hair and tanned skin, whereas Finn wore a red shirt hidden beneath a brown vest and tucked in sloppily. His blond hair was striking off at different angles, and he looked like a stroppy child - no different to normal - while Delvin smiled so much his face looked stretched. Raina liked how happy her brothers were. She liked it far more when surprise and utter confusion consumed their expressions entirely, and they both looked as though a brick wall had jumped out in front of them.  "Robb!" Finn exclaimed, the previous moodiness of his demeanor slipping at the sight of an old friend sitting before him; by which time, Greywind had also pounced to his feet to welcome Delvin - who was still looking entirely shocked at it all. "You're alive!" He said out loud, probably unintentionally, with a glaze in his eyes that showed he was just as thrilled as his younger brother. Robb laughed at them both, clambering to his feet, and went to greet them with affection. Though he wasn't supposed to show his men any sort of favouritism, Robb had always secretly loved the Glover boys, as he'd grown up with them like brothers and became very good friends with them over the years. As King that had never ceased to remain despite titles and expectations. He'd even talked about making them his official King's Guard. Perhaps that could still become a reality, in time. "It's good to see you both," Robb rejoiced, basking in manly hugs and gestures that he'd missed receiving from his companions, "the same could be said to you, your majesty. What the fuck are you doing on two feet?" Finn chuckled, patting Robb firmly on the chest as the group jested amongst themselves. "Oh, the gods are merciful, it would seem." Delvin replied, his brotherly arm slung over Robb's broad shoulders, his smile now replaced back onto his stubbled features.

Raina remained sat on the log, watching as her brother's became thrilled at their new company, and overwhelmed with the joy of having their King back and still standing with only minimal damage and a worthy claim. She was happy that they were all happy, and happy herself that she had her Young Wolf back to hold forever, for she would be sure never to let him go again.

"What are you all doing at Winterfell?" Robb questioned after time had passed, and the group had residing to sitting in an oddly shaped crowd on the forest floor, with a furrowed brow and inquisitive gaze. Raina suddenly lost the breath to speak, and apparently so did her brothers, as within the dream come true that had been the reunion with Robb she'd all but forgotten about her betrothed and the wedding that awaited her on the horizon of the week. She'd deluded herself into believing now that Robb had returned she'd be back in his loving companionship, without a care for the man she would be marrying shortly, only that now all came crumbling back to realisation. "We--uh--" she tried hard to formulate some sort of reply, but nothing good came to mind, nothing that wouldn't shatter Robb's fragile feelings. "Raina's to be married." Finn said with utter disgust, the venom in his voice prominent in every word he let slip from his frowning lips. Robb seemed to pause at this, brow still folded and eyes still glazed with confusion - until it finally set in an abrupt, stern, change in demeanour. Suddenly, it was clear why he was known as a wolf amongst his people, as now all that could be seen was the same icy stare Raina had seen in Greywind numerous times. "Ramsay." He snarled with gritted teeth and a firm stare locked in the ground in front of him, not at any one in particular. "I won't let that happen." And then it was gone again, the wolf had gone to rest once more and Robb was back with pleading eyes set on Raina, "we need a plan."

A/N: it's shit, I know, I'm sorry. It'll get better in the next chapter I promise
