Kate's P.O.V :
I ran in the direction of Megan and Alice's scent.
I heard the sound of sirens and saw flashing lights as I got closer to the scene of the car crash.
I notice Alice was out the car but my mate was still trapped inside.
I ran over to the car and opened the door on Megan's side and looked at my hurt mate
" Megan I'm going to get you out of here I promise " I said quietly before taking her seatbelt off of her
I slowly and carefully removed her from the car and held her in my arms waiting for help.
I looked down at my innocent mate's face " please don't leave me Megan ...." She started to whisper
The rest of their families turned up a few moments later with sad faces as they looked on at me and megan.
" please wake up baby " I whisper into her hair " please...." If she could cry she would have been crying her eyes out.
I looked up as Carlisle stopped the paramedics telling them that he was a doctor an would take care of Megan for them.
Carlisle finally comes over with our families and crouched down beside me.
He slowly puts his hands out " Kate, I can help her, I just need to see how bad her injuries are " he said looking at Megan.
I slowly kissed her forehead before handing her over to Carlisle and got up as he got up.
Alice's P.O.V :
I can't believe I was so stupid.
What if she doesn't wake up ? It's all my fault , I shouldn't have took her.
I feel like the worse mother ever.... What if he hates me even more now.
I guess I have to accept that they are mates and their is nothing I can do to stop them.
I look over at Carlisle as he checks my daughter over , I look at her pale face... Her closed eyes...
I turn to Jasper and hug him tight " it's all my fault ... What if she doesn't wake up Jasper ? I only came back into her life and I'm already ruining it "
Jasper rubs my back " I have to admit what you did was wrong , you shouldn't have taken her but if she wakes up and you apologise for what you did and maybe accept that your daughter and Kate are in love then maybe she might forgive you , maybe she might open up to you and want you to be in her life " he said into my ear as I lay my head on his shoulder out of the corner of my eye I saw Kate turn and glare at me
" this is all your fault Alice ! " she shouted at me. I could see the anger and pain in her eyes.
I turn to face them "I'm sorry , I know it's my fault but I wasn't thinking straight please forgive me " I looked at the Denali's " I just wanted my daughter ... I want to make up for the years I missed out on . I know you are all angry with me but please can I have another chance... " I trailed off.
Carmen looks at Kate then me " we need to think about Megan and what's best for her. We understand you want to be in her life now Alice but it's not that easy we need to take this slowly to make sure Megan is comfortable before fully allowing you back into her life. You can't just turn up and say you want to be in her life now Alice , she is no longer part of your family, you made that choice when you left her. But we will take things slowly and see if it will work ."
I nod slowly " ok I'll do whatever you say "
Carmen smiles weakly at me " ok, it's settled then "
Kate looks at me " I'll only agree if you promise not to hurt her anymore Alice ? "
" I promise Kate and I accept you and her now " I say
Kate nods and walks over to Carlisle since he said Megan would wake up soon
