A petrifying scream drew attention from lone Aurora picking up her stationary and the remains of her pencil case. Snickers and giggles then erupted from all over the canteen.

What in the supercalifragilisticexpliadocious world happened?

Thought Aurora as she made her way to where she stood a few minutes ago. Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back - and it really brought it back this time.

There Ms Queen Bee stood in all of her glory, drenched with watermelon juice. Her designer clothes were now dyed a faint red colour, thanks to the dreadfully sticky drink. Flailing her arms like a (not so) graceful duck, dripping wet hair clinging to her face, she looked so ridiculous that Aurora almost burst out laughing.

Nicole got what she wanted. Attention. But this time, she wasn't pleased with it.

"Ms Collins, see me in my office. Now. "

Mrs Stanford, the school headmistress, just so happened to be walking towards the canteen ironically for a glass of watermelon juice. She coincidentally walked in just in time to see Nicole throw the pencil case across the room.

Nicole rolled her eyes when Mrs Stanford exited the canteen.

This witch summons me to her evil lair once again, no surprise. Guess she needs me to brightens up her dull plain office.

"Keep rolling your eyes. Maybe you'll find a brain in there. "

Choruses of laughter were heard once again. She narrowed her eyes, trying to spot the person who dared insult her like that.

There that culprit was. Crossed arms, giant smirk across her face, holding a glass of watermelon jui-

WATERMELON JUICE?!

How dare she throw that pathetic drink at me! I'll show her..

But wait, she realized.

She knew that smirk.

Aurora observed at the staring contest happening between Ms Queen Bee and the mysterious girl nervously. She saw the clench in Nicole's fists, the smirk of the girl growing bigger and bigger.

Uh oh.. This is not going to be good for that girl.

Nicole was very much known for her ways of getting revenge. Cruel insults on lockers written in permanent markers, rumors spread throughout social media. It sounded like the most cliché of the clichés. But how did she stay popular? No one knew.

Before Aurora could even think, her body reflexes acted on instinct. She quickly ran forward into the "battle arena", and grabbed the girl's hand.

"Run!" she yelled (or half yelled, for her voice was the quiet type) while looking back over her shoulder. She didn't know what made her grab the girl and run but she just went with it. They ran aimlessly until they were stood in front of Aurora's safe place - the library.

As soon as they entered the library, the musky scent of dilapidated books surrounded them. It smelled sort of like what one would picture wisdom smelled like, or like a aging secret forest full of knowledge. Once again, magical.
