I heard during my suffering that a celebration for the...new members was happening tonight so that would be my time to escape. I was the sacrifice for them so before the ceremony I'll escape then. The bell rang and shadow knights started to assemble to the hall I took a bobby pin outta my hair and stuffed in the lock and eventually got it out and ran. I was almost to the portal when something caught my eye, I looked over and saw my parents their eyes were cold and blank, but you could see the hope that they wouldnt have to go through with this. I wanted to cry lay flat on the ground I wanted to hug them and feel their warmth, when I heard a voice. Someone had spotted me and I started to run I caught a glimpse of my parents eyes they were full of fear I didn't want that fear to clog their minds anymore I loved them but I didn't want them to worry so I ran to the portal jumped through and broke it. Tear streaming through my eyes but I held my head up high and walked off
