Team Fortress 2 (Our Story) Emmy's POV

Crying Over Spilled Tea

A young girl stumbles around the kitchen of her small house to try and make some tea for her angry mother. She added the amount of sugar her mother likes best and went to go give it to her mother. As she's giving the tea to her mother, she trips on her own feet and spills the hot tea all over her mother's brand new dress. The mother grunted in pain and yelled at the child about how clumsy she is and stormed over to the kitchen to grab a knife. The small child cowered in fear as the mother swung the knife at her. The kitten runs for the door while the mother is chasing her and fumbles to unlock it. She opens the door just as her mother kicks her in the side and yells "I never want to see you back here! Go back with that maniac father of yours!" The child runs outside in the cold rain to her tree she likes to sit in to hide. She sits up there for a few minutes crying and holding her burnt hands in pain. She looks over her own body to find a quickly growing bruise on her side. There were cuts from the broken tea cup on her legs that were bleeding some. She sat up there waiting for something to happen.

The girl heard her friend Lily down below her mumbling, "I'm going to rip that woman's throat out for what she did to my Emmy." Emmy was about to say something until she noticed a drop of blood run down her leg and fall to the ground. Lily noticed this and looked up to see Emmy up in the tree, ears flat against her head and her tail wrapped around her body. Emmy climbed the best she could down the tree to meet her friend.

Emmy remembered hearing Lily talking about where to go if this did happen. They decided they were going to go and find their fathers. They were mercenaries for the Reliable Excavation Demolition team or RED team. Emmy and Lily walked for two days searching for the RED base. They walked through the freezing rain searching. Soon it became dark and it was getting hard to see. Emmy started to complain, "Can we go to sleep and look again tomorrow? I'm tired and my feet hurt." Lily kept walking only stopping a few times for Emmy to catch up. They found a large building with a red symbol on that said RED. They found the RED base.

Lily took a deep breath and walked up to the door not knowing what to expect when it opened. She looked back at Emmy and nodded. She walked a bit closer to the door and knocked as best as she could. The door opened....
