Team Fortress 2 (Our Story) Emmy's POV

Meet the Medic

    There was a man-- he seemed to be about eighteen years old. He looked down at Emmy and Lily and they squeaked. He asked "What are you doing here and where are your parents?" Lily looked at Emmy who nodded. They decided to tell him the truth why there were there. "We ran away from home and we are l-looking for our dads... sir." Lily stuttered. He stepped out of the way and let the two girls in.

   Emmy and Lily cautiously walk in by the man. He closed the door and lead them through the hall towards a bigger room with a few people in it. "Hey Scout, who are these kids with you?" A man with a deep French accent asked. The girls introduced themselves to the man. He chuckled and said "Hello Emmy, Lily, I am the Spy." In the kitchen another man shouted "Why are you two girls here? This is no place for children as yourselves!" Emmy and Lily hid behind Scout's legs. Scout told the Soldier about the girls and how they were looking for their fathers who worked here. Spy picked up both the children and sighed. "We are mercenaries Scout. We do not help lost little girls."

   Emmy's ears perked up upon hearing the word mercenaries because now she knew they were in the right place. She whispered this to Lily who then gasped, causing the men to look in her direction.

   "M-Mr. Spy our dads s-said they had to le-leave for a special job, I s-saw my dads papers, and they s-said for a recruit as a m-mercenary." Spy looked at the girls in shock and decided the right thing to do. Help these girls find their father by asking around. Spy first asked Sniper if he had a daughter. He shook his head and said he didn't. He then took the girls to a place that looked like a lab, with medicine, and medical equipment around. There was a metal bed in the center of the room and there was nobody in there. Spy was just about to turn towards the door but it shut. 

   A man stepped towards spy and the girls. Just before they could look at the man, he picked up Lily and held her close. She didn't know who picked her up so she flinched at the touch but then opened her eyes to meet the eyes of her loving father, the Medic. Lily began to cry with tears of joy as she nuzzled into his large coat. She told him everything that has happened to her since he was gone. He apologized that he left and hugged her tightly and wiped a few stray tears. Just then a massive man bursts into the room screaming "MEDIC!!" Medic looked at Heavy in slight annoyance when he noticed what he had in his hands. It was a slightly burnt sandwich that still had a small flame at the edge.  Medic set Lily down and told her he would be back in a bit. Lily stayed close to Spy and Emmy.
