You paced the pool at Iwatobi not even looking up from the ground when you heard your name being called. "Y/N!" Nagisa yelled. "Hey..." You replied, continuing to look down at the ground. "Are you okay? Did you hear about Rin?" He said quietly. "Yes, have you heard anything about him recently?" You asked. "Well...I found out where he is now, we're actually competing against him next week. But we'll win for sure!" He said, and ran off smiling. You walked out of Iwatobi, and back to your house. As you walked up the street, you saw someone in front of your house. He was sitting on a step with his maroon hair hiding his face. You cautiously walked up to the door. "Excuse me? But why are you here?" You asked. He looked up at you, his red eyes locking with yours and gasped. "RIN?!" You yelled. A wave of emotion washed over you as he stood up, never breaking eye contact with you. "Hey. How've you been?" He said. Your mouth hung open in shock. "I'm sorry for what happened before, but I was hoping you weren't still hanging on to what happened. Obviously, I was wrong." He said. "Rin, I-I'm not still...mad. That was years ago, I'm...very happy for you." You said angrily. "Oh really, cause it sounds like you're STILL mad. After all these years you still can't get over it." He said getting closer to you. You were a little shorter than him but you could still hold your own in a fight. "You never deserved to go to Australia. You didn't even consider how everyone else would feel. You just LEFT!" You said leaning in closer. You could feel his breath against your face. "I left because I had no choice. It was either the people I cared about or my dreams (Y/N)! I'm sorry I didn't pick you over my future!" He yelled. You felt like punching him, but instead you grabbed his shoulders and pressed him against you. You felt his lips hit yours and you suddenly realized what you had just done. You pushed him away, as you felt your face get hot. His face was redder than his hair. Rin stared at you and opened his mouth trying to speak. "Sorry." You said curtly. "Don't worry about it. I just...wasn't expecting it." He replied, walking towards you. "It's not like I didn't want it to happen though." He said, smirking. You looked at him wide-eyed as he cupped your face in his hands and lifted your lips to his. You didn't attempt to push him away, instead you closed your eyes and reciprocated his kiss. You felt his other arm snake around your waist and you wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing you both closer together. You felt his body relax as he held you in front of your house. You broke the kiss and took a deep breath. He continued to hold you and smiled down at you. "I didn't know that you missed me that much." He said smiling. You laughed a little, not knowing what to say. "I-I didn't really think I did either, I wasn't expecting to kiss you." You said quietly. "Well we can always go inside and continue this thing we have going." He said, moving towards the door.
