Love As In Partners

Chapter 9

Ladybug transformed back and made her hair loose again. She hurried with Alya and Nino.

"Where is Adrien?"

"He said he might me a little late."

"Oh. Thanks Nino..."

"Guys!! Looks! Over there at the Eiffel Tower! Its Chat Noir!'

"Huh?"

Everyone looked and Chat was at the tip of the tower tied up. He had been kidnapped.

"Who is the villain?"

"I can't see that well... Huh? Wait I think it's Chloe!"

"What! She got akumatized again?!"

"Well then I hope Ladybug does something... Marinette?"

Marinette ran as fast as she could and then transformed to Ladybug.

She then flew with her Yo-yo to the top of the tower and Chloe was with Chat.

"Well well look who is here... Its Ladybug!"

"What are you doing Chloe!!"

"Here is what I'm gonna do... With my axe, I'll cut this tip in two and Chat Noir will fall and die!!"

"No!!"

"Of course unless you give me your miraculous!"

"No. I will stop you!!" She threw her Yo-yo at Chloe but she dodged and attacked her with the axe.

Chat Noir was unconscious and it was about to rain.

Ladybug was defending herself with the Yo-yo until Chloe made her trip and loose her Yo-yo.

"Noo!!"

Thunder was heard all over Paris and then its when water began to pour. Chat Noir then awoke confused and saw Ladybug in her knees.

"Huh? Ladybug!!"

"No more running away Ladybug, give me your Miraculous!!"

Chat tried to untie himself. While Ladybug stood up.

"No I won't."

"You have nothing now to fight with, so give up!"

Its it started to rain.

"I said No!"

"Well, say Good Bye to your precious partner!" Chloe prepared to hit the tip when Ladybug stopped her.

"STOP!! I- I will give you my miraculous... But please don't..."

"Ladybug Noo!!"

Ladybug slowly took her earnings off and a bright light covered Ladybug. Chloe approached her and Ladybug extended her arm to give them to Chloe when Chat used his Cataclysm.

The light faded and Chat stop himself to see who his 'Lady' was.

Marinette was sitting in her knees looking down crying. Rain was pouring on her. Chat was surprised. He then squatted down next to her.

"Marinette? You're Ladybug?!"

"Yeah.. I'm sorry..."

"Why? What's wrong with you being Marinette? I like her. I mean you. I like how your personality is, how unique you are... How pretty you are. You are just My Lady."

He placed his hands on her cheeks. "Stay here. I have to bring back something that belongs to My Lady."

Chat took out his staff and extended it to Chloe, tapping her shoulder.

"Huh?" Chloe turned around and then Chat lifted his staff and the earnings went flying in the air. Chloe slipped on the water.

"Noo the Miraculous!!"

Chat quickly grabbed the earnings and handed them to Marinette.

"Go and help me out, My Lady."

Marinette transformed back to Ladybug with her Yo-yo. She then tied Chloe up and took her purse, where the akuma was. She then tore it and purified the akuma. Chloe then forgot what had happened.

Ladybug and Chat brought Chloe back to the party. Then they went to the balcony. It was still raining.

She was looking at the moon. Chat smiled at her. "Now that I know you're Marinette... Things will change around, My Lady."

"You probably... Don't like me in the real world and well... We probably don't like each other."

Chat laughed. Ladybug looked confused.

"What now?"

"Are you kidding, My Lady? Of course we know each other in person!!"

"We do?"

"Haha yeah! In fact, we are friends..."

Chat was about to turn back. Ladybug could tell. His ring was beeping.

"Chat you're gonna turn back..."

"Oh I know..." He then grabbed Ladybug's cheeks and looked deeply in her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

"At the count of three, we are gonna turn back at the same time."

"Okay..." She closed her eyes and Chat began to count.

"1..."

"2..."

"3..."

Both turned back into their selves and Marinette opened her eyes. To her surprise, it was Adrien.

"A-Adrien?!" She blushed and went back into her mind remembering the kiss she had gave him to break the spell from Dark Cupid. She figured out it had been Adrien.

"I... Kissed you?!?"

"Haha yep, My Lady."

"You probably hate me for that..."

"In fact..."

Alya and Nino were looking for them and Nino finally found them in the balcony. They quietly looked at them in the rain close together.

"In fact what?"

He pulled Marinette closer and grabbed her from the waist.

"... I'm glad it was you..."

Marinette blushed as Adrien leaned closer to kiss her in the lips. The moon was full and shinny that night. Nino and Alya were shocked and at the same time proud.

Adrien pulled back and noticed Marinette was crying.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing... Its just that..."

She hugged Adrien.

"...I love you!"

Adrien hugged her back.

"I love you too, My Lady..."

"Really?"

"Yeah, in fact... We aren't only a couple now... We are also partners."

Marinette blushed at the mentioning of 'couple' by Adrien. She then hugged him tighter.

"Yes... I will always love you... Not only as a couple..."

She then let go of Adrien and looked at him in the eyes and said:

"... I will also Love you as my partner...."

"I will too..." He then kissed her in the lips.

"My Lady..."
