CHARAPTER 14

I woked up and heard that someone was knocking on my door the first thought that came to my mind was 'why is dad awake at 5 am ' but I opened the door and saw Luke with some roses and some chocolates I tried to close the door but he pushed it and I wasn't able to close the door so I asked him " what are you doing here at ... 5:35 am " He looked at me ,gave me the chocolates but I just put them on my desk , I tried to hide the feelings I never stopped having towards him , because now we are already in grade 12th and ever since I started to date Dave , 3 months after I thought Luke was cheating on me Luke and I were never really the same we started to trust each other more even though we both pretended we moved on , deep inside we both knew we loved each other ,stephannie and Luke started dating a couple of months after stephannie and I started to talk and we ended up being really close friends , my 18th birthday was coming up in a month and I was really happy, but I would have loved to spend it with my mom and sister and Luke ,Dave but at least mom and my sister were watching over me Luke and Dave ended up being friends even though Dave still a little jealous.

"Thanks " I said as smiled at Luke " Where's dad ?" I asked ,because somehow I know that Luke didn't have the keys to my house " well I kind of opened the door myself " Luke said " how ?" I asked he took a really deep breath and said " don't act dumb I know that you hide your house keys under the carpet out side your your front door " I rolled my eyes at him ,but we couldn't help but laugh , the last year of high school was almost coming to an end I was afraid that everything between Luke and I will change like it did when I thought he was cheating on me, but when I wanted to win him back stephannie had already taken my place ,so I just pretended I moved on and started dating Dave , when time passed I started to fall I'm love with him ,not completely in love ,because no one could ever Completely replace Luke . Luke came in my room ,sat in my queen size bed and said " what are you thinking about? " I let out a sigh and said "about what happened us and about all the 'maybes' that never happened " he pulled me in one arm hug all of the sudden I asked him " why did you brought me flowers ,and chocolates ?"

" oh yeah that " He began "I just thought it will be nice of me to take you out on picking with stephannie and I and maybe " He let a out a sigh and said " I'm totally lying , I broked up with stephannie today because I didn't wanted to hurt her when she finds out that I ..." He stopped and I looked at him with my eyes wide open and said " finds out what ?" He looked at me and said " I was just joking ,I did brake up with her ,but it was because I never really liked he" I raised an eyebrow he then said " I never stopped liking you "I somehow knew he was going to say that ,I started to play with his hair on a really harsh way and said " I never stopped liking you either but I just can't let Dave down ,he-he had been nice to me this passed two years we've been dating and I'm not saying I'm totally in love with him but ,he's now part of my life and I can't let him out of my life that easily " .

He took my hand and said " but you let me out of your life really fast " I looked at him and said " I didn't let you out of my life completely. I just - I just moved on and started to spend time with new friends and helping people, see I even donated my hair to people with cancer " He smiled and said " okay I get it , but I still love you and you can't denied that you still like me " I laughed and nodded my head yes . After that we went down stairs and watched 50 first dates , the movie that we watched the week before I found out that Luke liked me. It was around 9:30 in the morning when dad woked up and saw that Luke and I were cooking breakfast for him ,he quickly smiled and said " ohh please tell me that after all these two whole years you guys are actually back together " Luke let out a sigh and said " no Mr . Summers but I hoped it happend " ...

When I saw mom laying on the floor when I was younger I only hoped she will get better but every time I hoped I only got weaker so I just gaved up on hoping too much and started to accept my real life where only dad and Luke were the to help me gain some happiness.... unfortunately life is not always as we want it to be and we have to learn to live life like that ...

" umm this egg roles taste really good ,thanks kiddos " Luke laughed and said " yes sir , but it was your daughter who did breakfast " He looked at us and gaved us a little smile ...
