Chapter 1 A New Life

Miera's POV:
"Miera! Get down here!" My mother cried
"Coming!" I yelled running down the stairs
"Guess what! We're moving to Miami!"
"How is that a good thing?!" I wailed
"W-well.. I don't know.."
"Ugh I just- Why?!"
"Well Miera That's just Life!"
"Shut up!! Thats all you say!"
"you do not say Shut Up to your mother!"
"if I don't then what did I just say!"
"go to your room!!"
"I was planning on doing that anyway!"

"cmon pick up pick up!" I said as my phone rang
"Hello?" Said Khira
"Hey" I said
"oh Hey Miera"
"What's up?"
"nothing really.."
"Oh.."
"You seem really down" we said at the same time
"haha"
"Well I'm moving.." I said
"oh My Gosh!"
"What?"
"so am I!" Exclaimed Khira
"Where to?!"
"Miami" she said
"Me too!!"

"Miera! Can you come down for a second?" Said my mom
"I gotta go Khira"
"Cya"
"Caio " And I hung up

"coming mom!"I said running down the stairs
"I just got a call from Khira's mom"
"Yeah I know they're moving to Miami too, I called Khira"
"oh!"
"Is that all mom?"
"Yes"
"Bye" I headed upstairs  and into my bedroom.
I decided to go to bed but first, well I was kinda hungry so I went over to my mini-fridge beside my bed and got out a coke. There was no food left in the fridge so I went to find my candy stash and got some jolly ranchers and sour keys and turned on my TV. I finished my coke and put the rest of my candy. Turned off my TV and went to sleep

1 Year Later

I slowly opened my eyes with the sun shining in my face. I stuck my noise in the air. "Mm Eggs and bacon" I said as i smelled the breakfast cooking downstairs. I jumped out of my bed and got my slippers on and ran downstairs. "Hey sis" said my 10 year old brother. "Hey Jack" I said "Morning honey I made breakfast" Said my mom "Morning mom" I said as my mom handed me a plate with bacon, eggs and French toast. I took it and sat down at the table. I grabbed the remote and put on Mine and my brothers favourite show; Splatalot. "Is it on?" He said "I think so". I turned on the TV and we were already on the channel, so we are our breakfast and watched our show.The show finished around the time we finished our breakfast. I grabbed our plates and took them into the Kitchen. I got some money and my laptop, put it into my book bag and I was halfway out the door when "Miera!"said a voice behind me "Huh yeah?" I answered "You're in your Pajama's" said my mom, i looked down "Oh.." my brother started laughing. I ran upstairs. Got into some clothes and grabbed my gym clothes, and ran downstairs. "Ok now I'm ready" I said. Then me and my brother when outside and waited for the bus. "Bye mom" I said as the bus came. I got on the bus and sat beside Khira. "What's up?" She said "Khira is the morning I doubt anything interesting has happened" I said, "Except that I almost went to school in my Pajama's" Right  then Khira bursted out laughing.
