Expectations

Chapter 1

  It was August I was starting school, I thought it was going to be a boring and normal year. Mom was talking to go eat breakfast.

"John come eat."

"I'm late mom, sorry I can't eat."

"Ok John take this money and buy something."

"Thanks mom, see you later."

I walked 10 streets to school. I was hearing music and looking how all those kids were laughing and happy of starting school. I don't understand why some people like to much school. I prefer being home just hearing music or seeing tv.

I passed by my crush house, Stephanie. She was stepping inside her car. She has never talked to me. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She is the most beautiful and popular girl in school.

While looking at her I fell because of a ball. Steph saw me and she get out of the car running asking if I was okay. I never thought the first time I talked to her will be like this, but at least I talked to her. She helped me to get up.

"Thanks Stephanie."

"Your welcome John, call me Steph"

I never thought she knew my name.

"Ok Steph, see you later at school"

"No wait, I'll take you school."

I didn't knew what to answer.

"Uhhh, ok"

I felt strange while being in the car. I didn't knew what to talk about. She heard the same music I hear. I started mumbling the song.

"You like Coldplay?" she asked.

"Yes"

This was the last thing I thought it will happen to me this day. I felt time was going slow. Later I saw this wasn't the street school.

"Where are we going"

"We are going to take my friend Lisa"

"Ok"

You might see Steph and think she is just beautiful and is stupid, but that isn't true. She has the best grades in all school and is also the leader of various studying clubs. In a small word she is "PERFECT" she is "STEPHANIE."

We arrive to Lisa's house. Her house is in an important zone of the city because her dad is the city mayor. I think is the biggest one in the city it has a big pool, a tennis court and a basketball court. I know that because she makes parties and everyone talks about it.

"Hi, Li," said Steph.

"Hi, Steph" said Lisa.

"Li he is John: John she is Li," said Steph.

"Hi, John how are you doing."

"Good"

We continue our drive to school. 5 minutes later we were arriving the school park. Everyone knew who she was and for that everyone looked at us. I knew everyone were going to talk about me because of that and I don't really care about it.

I get out of the car and I thanked Steph. I walk inside to see if Carl and Mia arrive to school already. I walk through the hallways while everyone looked at me. I've never understand how gossips can travel so fast and I think I'll never understand it. I just learn not to do things that everyone will be talking about later.
