Chapter 1

“Yeah, sure, whatever,” Violet told her dad as she walked out the door. “I'll acknowledge my sister.”

“Violet!” her dad called to her.

Violet sighed and turned around. “What?” she asked rolling her eyes. “I said I'd acknowledge her.”

“If you need any help getting around the school, just ask her,” he told her.

“Okay,” Violet said opening the door.

“Make friends,” he said.

“Yep,” Violet responded ignoring him. She then walked out to her black convertible and got in the driver's seat.

“Be nice.”

“Got it,” Violet said putting the car into ignition.

“Bye, Violet, I love you,” he told her.

Violet nodded and drove off down the street. She drove through the neighborhood to get to McKinley High School. Violet is the fraternal twin sister of Quinn Fabray. Last year, when their parents found out Quinn was pregnant, they had divorced. Quinn lived with her mother, and Violet lived with her father. They never saw each other after that.

This is Violet's first year at McKinley. Before this, she went to a Carmel High School, but got expelled due to too many absences. Violet likes to play sick a lot, and not go to school. She learns all her tricks from the great Ferris Bueller.

Violet pulled into the McKinley High School parking lot and parked her car. She grabbed her black back pack and walked into the school. She took a deep breath and walked through the front doors.

The hallway smelled like baby wipes. She then saw a group of jocks pushing a Science nerd into a locker. Violet then looked for her locker. She found it on a set near a Math classroom. She opened locker number 873 and put her books inside. She then closed it and walked to her first class. She looked around for Room 57, but couldn't find it.

She then walked up to the first person she could find, which was some guy the same height as Frankenstein. “Excuse me?” she asked him.

The big tall guy looked down and saw Violet standing there. “Yes?” he asked.

“Can you please tell me where Room 57 is?” she asked.

“Sure, it's in the next hallway to the right,” he told her.

“Okay, thanks,” she said. She then walked down the hall and into her class. The teacher walked into the classroom.

He cleared his throat. “Welcome class to Social Studies,” he greeted in a boring, drone voice. “Today we will be talking about...”

So far, Violet liked Carmel better. Carmel was more performing arts, not so much... school stuff. But it was only first period, so she couldn't really judge the school.

By 6th period, she still had the same thoughts. She then walked out of her Math class and went to go get new books for her next few classes. “Are you new?” someone asked.

Violet whirled her cherry red hair around and saw a big hefty guy standing there with a football jacket on. “Yes,” she answered quietly.

“Thought so,” he said. Violet then tried to walk away, but he pushed her back into the lockers. “I'm not done with you yet,” he told her.

Violet struggled to get away, but the football player was too strong. “Let her go Karofsky,” someone said behind him. “Can't you see she isn't in to you?”

The football player looked behind him. “Ha,” he fake laughed. “You think you can beat me up, Puckerman? You're in Glee Club. You couldn't even give me a bruise or a scratch.”

The guy behind him smirked. “Wanna bet?” he asked.

The football player looked back at Violet. “You got lucky this time,” he told her. He then let go of Violet and walked away.

Violet let a huge sigh of relief go. “Thank you,” she thanked the other guy. “I thought he was going to rape me.”

“No problem,” he replied. He then started to walk away, but then he turned back. “Wait, are you new?” Violet nodded. “What's your name?” he asked her.

“My name is Violet,” she answered.

“I'm Puck,” he said.

Violet smiled for a second and then walked away. “Wait!” he called after her.

Violet spun around. “What?” she asked.

“Is that it?” he asked.

“What else did you want to talk about?” she asked.

Puck shrugged. “I don't know,” he said.

“Okay then,” Violet said starting to walk again. She walked until she saw a bulletin board that had CLUBS written on the top. Violet looked at all the clubs: Chess Club, Cheerleading, Mythology Club, Football, Cooking Club, Photography, Drama Club, Glee Club, Puppetry, Band, Orchaestra, YOU NAME IT they got it.

“Were you thinking about joining any clubs?” Puck asked coming to stand next to her.

Violet jumped. “Uh, I don't know,” she answered. “I was thinking Photography.”

“What about Glee Club?” he asked.

Violet shrugged. “My sister is in Glee Club,” she said. “You sing in it right?”

“Yeah, it's a lot of fun,” he told her.

“You're in it?” she asked him. “You don't seem like the guy who wold sing.”

Puck smiled. “Well, I really like to sing,” he told her. “I play the guitar too.”

Violet smiled back and grabbed the pen that dangled from the side of the clipboard. She wrote her name on the sign-up sheet for Glee Club.

“All you have to do it audition,” he told her.

“When are auditions?” she asked him.

Puck shrugged. “I don't know,” he said. “Why don't you just go to the meeting today and we'll see what Mr. Schue says.”

“Okay, when is the meeting?” Violet asked.

“Seventh period,” he replied. “So, right now.”

Puck took Violet's hand and brought her down the hall into the Choir Room.
