It's been almost a week since I joined fairy tail and it was time that I took a job. I walked up to the big board with all the job request none of them really stood out until. I found what sounded like a really easy job that paid good money.
"So you found your first job" I jumped not knowing who was talking I turned around and saw Natsu. In surprise I punched him square in the nose. After realizing what I did I started to apologize when he looked at me he started to laugh. He told me to forget about it I looked at him with a confused face trying to figure out how he was fine with a bloody nose. Then he asked.
"what type of mission are you going on?" I showed him the flyer when he saw it he looked disappointed in me.
"Why is someone with your talent wasting there time on such an easy mission." I looked at him with a shocked and terrified expression on my face. Then he looked at the board grabbed a mission and handed it to me it looked to much harder then the one I had first grabbed. Sunny then came up to us "So then Martin have you found us a mission?" I looked at him with a frightened expression. He then looked at Natsu and then the flyer he then had the same expression as me. The whole time Natsu just sat there and had a big grin on his face. Lucy then walked up to us after she was done talking to Levy. She looked at the three of us and then demanded Natsu to explain what he did. Then he showed her the flyer and told her the mission was for me. She looked at Natsu with anger that he chose such a hard mission for the guilds newest member. She then put it back and grabbed a new mission for me. Then again Natsu grabbed the same mission and put it in my hand. The switching of missions went on for two hours. Then Erza walked up and grabbed both missions from Lucy and Natsu. She studied them both for a moment and handed me the one Natsu picked. I looked at her and thought to argue with her then Lucy pulled me away and said she would help me with the mission. I nodded in agreement then we were off. When we got on the train I started to feel motion sick Lucy tried to calm me down, I just lied there in misery and wished it was over. After what felt like two days (1 hour) we finally got to clover town the nearest town to our mission. We looked at the flyer again "So we're supposed to find a Vulcan herd." We all looked at each other with a big grin. We walked to the town and looked for a place to rest before we set off. When we found a place to rest we started to hear screaming. We ran over to where the screaming was and then we saw it. The herd of Vulcan in an instant we reacted. Lucy summoned Virgo and asked her to stop the Vulcan. While I prepared my attack "light dragon wing attack." And like that the battle began Virgo stopping any Vulcan trying to escape while I knocked them down. After about one hour of fighting we were able to chase them off to a nearby mountain. When we got back to clover town all the towns people cheered for us. After we were done with our mission we headed back to the guild. When we got back Erza spotted us and asked us how it went. We told her and she congratulated us. After our mission I also asked Lucy if she could help me look for a new house seeing as my old one was falling apart. She agreed we started to look.

After a month I had a new home which was really nice.
