The elevator comes into sight and I see Grayson waiting there. He smiles when he sees me at first, but when he sees that I'm about to cry, his face looks concerned. I run into his arms and start crying.

"I talked to my friends for the last time," I say.

"You'll see them again," Grayson says.

"No I wont. My father will make sure I die in there," I say between sobs.

"Aria, promise me one thing," Grayson says and pushes my chin up so I'm looking him in the eyes, "that you will try to win, don't give up on yourself."

"Ok," I say and take a shuddery breath.

"Good, now let's go, they're waiting upstairs. And dry those tears, you probably don't want to have to explain everything," Grayson says and wipes a tear off of my cheek.

I smile and we step in the elevator. The elevator speeds up and I almost fall. Luckily, Grayson catches me.

"Sorry," I say as he helps me back up.

"It's fine," Grayson says with a smile as the door opens.

We walk in and head to the dining room where Grace and Chrysanthemum are sitting with Rhys and Grayson's stylist Vorella.

"There you are, sit down, dinner is being served right now," Chrysanthemum says as we walk in.

I sit down in my usual seat which is next to Grayson and across from Grace. An avox comes and sets some sort of meat and veggies and some soup in front of me. I only eat it since I will regret not eating once I'm in the games.

"So, you two," Grace says and points to us.

"What about us two?" I ask.

"Aren't you going to tell us anything about your relationship?" Chrysanthemum asks excitedly.

"No, there isn't much to say," I say then continue eating.

"Ok, suit yourself," says Chrysanthemum then she continues eating.

Grayson and I look at eachother and laugh a bit.

"A relationship isn't the best thing for the games. It'll just get messed up," Grace says sadly.

"How do you know?" I ask.

"I just do. You two should go get ready for bed, get your energy up for tomorrow," Grace says. Grayson and I nod and stand up. We walk towards the hallway and stop at our doors.

"Goodnight," I say.

"Not yet, I'll see you later," Grayson says. Before I can question anything, he gives me a quick kiss then goes into his room.

I walk into my room and decide to shower quickly. After I shower I put on a tank top nightgown and lay down on my bed. Obviously none of the tributes will be sleeping much tonight.

I lay there for at least an hour when the door opens. Grayson walks over to my bed and holds out his hand.

"Come with me," he whispers. I smile and take his hand and we walk out to the living room. We sit down on the couch.

"What are we doing?" I ask in a whisper.

"Watching Grace's games. Something must've happened if she didn't want us to watch," Grayson answers and puts in the tape.

Grayson sits down next to me. I shiver, suddenly cold in a tank top. Grayson reaches beside him and picks up a blanket and wraps it around me.

"Don't you need some of the blanket?" I ask.
