Chapter 8 (5,000 miles)

5 months later

Faith's P.O.V

Its been 5 months sense the whole me and Grayson met and dated. Yes we are still together.....but we used to be in contact a lot but school has started I've been busy asf and he also started school again so he's busy too. But when I get out of school and wait till he's out cause were like 3 hours apart. He's usually busy with meetings or whatever. We used to Skype until we go to sleep but now its 30 minute conversation. He's always to busy to talk to me anymore. I have no idea if were even dating anymore. We just grew farther apart.

Right now I'm in my room watching Catfish on MTV. Then there was a knock on my door. "Come in." I yelled. My mom then opened the door and gave me a fake smile. Oh god when she does that its bad news. "Oh god mom what's wrong." I said sitting up.

"I know you hate moving but I got transferred to California."

"Mom are you fucking kidding me we just moved here about 8 months ago." I started yelling. I hate this we move all the freaking time.

"First off I'm still your mother so you need to watch your mouth and there's good news to it though."

"Oh yea I'm sure it is." I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

"You get to go to your old school before we moved here. But we'll be in a different house much bigger."

"Well at least I don't have to make new friends again."

"Yea so were leaving in 5 days so pack up only clothes I already got furniture at the new house." she said leaving the room. I hate moving but I'm going to enjoy seeing my old friends again. They were the best friends you could ever ask for. My old school is in Los Angeles. Ill be close to Grayson then. I should tell him but not just yet.

Oh yea if your wondering how Ethan and Candice are.......they broke up sadly Ethan couldn't don't like the whole long distance dating so he ended it. She made good from it by saying she happy that she got to st least kiss her dream guy. She also met a new guy named Russel he's cute and nice.

****4 days later***

Tomorrow I'm leaving to California. I haven't told Grayson just yet he's been soo busy ugh jerk. But tonight he promised to Skype me so ill tell him tonight. My laptop started going off. I got off my bed and grabbed it then sat in my bed again. Grayson is calling. I answered it and saw his cute face. "Hey babe" he smiled

"Hey...." We talked for about 40 minutes. Faith stop stalling tell him. "Um i have to tell you something." his smile dropped. He now has a worried face.

"What's wrong what did I do?"

"No no its not about you its just that-"

"Grayson we got to go to the meeting now come on." Ethan said

"Hey Ethan."

"Hey Faith what's up." he put his whole face in the camera. I laughed a little.

"Nothing I just need to tell-" I got cut off again I swear I want to yell right now.

"Guys you have to go in now." someone said

"Babe I have to go tell me later okay?"

"Whatever." I slammed my laptop this is seriously getting on my nervous. Now he'll never find out and it seemed like he didn't care. Forget about him just go to sleep. I pulled the covers over my head and drifted off to sleep.

We got to the airport at 5 am this is way too early. I saw that Starbucks was open so I went to there and got my usual caramel frappe. I also went to McDonald's to get me the hot cake breakfast. As we waited for the plane I got a text from Grayson.

G-Sorry about last night what did you have to tell me?

I decided not to answer I don't want to tell him over text and I'm mad at him right now. "Flight 658 to Los Angeles California is now boarding." Me and my mom got up. I gave the lady our tickets and looked for my seat. Good thing its early in the morning so it's less people so no stranger will be sitting next to my mom. I got a window seat and my mom next to me. 5 hour flight here we go. It didn't take me long to fall asleep.

We made it safely. I grabbed my bag out the top on the self and headed off the plane. "I need to rent a car my cars are coming in a week so stay here." I nodded grab all 4 of my suitcases and 6 of my mom's. She has a lot of shoes its like a mall in her closet. A few minutes later my mom came back with a car. We began to put everything in the trunk. We finally got to the house and I'm soo sleepy. We arrived to this huge brown house. (Picture above) its beautiful. When we walk in there's a huge staircase. "Mom how many bed rooms is this?" I asked looking around.

"There's 5 bedrooms and 5 and a half bathrooms."

"But there's only the 2 of us why do we need all this space?"

"I just like nice houses. Oh yea I have a surprise for you." I gave her a weird look. She then handed me car keys and told me to go outside. I opened the garage and saw a black range rover. I squealed and ran to hug my mom. I now finally have my own car. "Only because your 16 and you have your license so now you can drive to school everyday." I hugged her again. She hugged back then went to her room.

I ran up to find my room. Once I opened the door it was baby blue. I was in love there's a window seat. I have a queen size bed with a bunch of pillows on it. My own bathroom. Yes I don't have to walk all the way down the hall to get to the bathroom. "Wow." Is all I can say. I brought all my clothes in and began to unpack and put everything up.

I finally finished from what felt like 3 hours. I grabbed my phone jumped on the bed and began to watch tv. I had 5 miss calls from Grayson. It won't hurt to call him.

"Hello."
"Hi"
"How come you didn't answer my texts what's wrong?"
"I needed to tell you something important last night but you had to go. Like always."
He sighed "I'm sorry. Its like ever since the tour we got more busy and its just a lot. But I'm on break now what did you need to tell me. I'm listening this time I swear."
"I just really needed to tell you that-" ARE YOU SERIOUS.

"Faith lets go get some dinner. Maybe Olive Graden?"

"Sure mom I'm coming." I went back on the phone. "Ill just tell you tomorrow maybe bye."
"Are you sure?"
"Yea bye."
"Bye."
I got off my bed and went to my closet. I grabbed my jacket,purse and phone then left with my mom. I guess he won't ever know.

I know this chapter is a little bit boring but it will get better I promise. There's more drama and hate that's going to happen. I promise
