Chapter 51

*Kenzie's P.O.V*

Everyone has left and I was led on my bed scrolling through Twitter on my laptop with my headphones in listening to Dangerous Women by Airana Grande when I could see some rocks hitting my window. I looked at my phone seeing the time which was 10:30 PM I rolled my eyes walking out to my window.

"Your early." I looked down at Taylor who was grinning at me.

"Well... Can I come up?"

"As long as you don't make a noise while doing it."

"That's what she said." Taylor laughed a little while climbing up. I sat back onto my bed when he came and sat on the end of my bed.

"I think we need to talk." Taylor raised his eyebrow at me.

"Yeah we do." I sat up crossing my legs and sitting opposite of him.

"Why did you kiss her right in front of me." I looked at him as he shook his head.

"It wasn't like that."

"Well then, what was it like." I watch him as he tried not to laugh.

"Well basically when I was meeting fans at the red carpet I met one and she was saying how she loved me and how dedicated she was so I took a picture kissing her cheek then I saw her again as we sat down turns out she was Tyler Wards date anyway she started flirting with me. But I thought it was a little bit of banter so I did it back then she said.

"We should re-enact the picture, but lips instead. Without a word coming from my mouth she kissed me." I stared at him, starting to get mad.

"Why didn't you pull away."

"I wanted to, but I couldn't."

"Why couldn't you."

"I didn't have a choice."

"Yes you did Taylor... Everyone has a choice."

"You don't understand Kenzie."

"Don't Kenzie me! You don't understand how I felt last night, it felt like I was stabbed in the back like I couldn't-" I was cut off by Taylor smashing his lips onto mine.

I pulled away annoyed at him.

"Do you really think that by kissing me I was going to forgive you that easily."

"I was hoping." He smiled sheepishly.

"Leave!" I crossed my arms as he stared at me in shock.

"W-what do you mean?"

"I never wanna see you again, leave my room and never speak to me again." He stood upa nd looked at me.

"Kenzie you're over reacting."

"REALLY! WATCHING SOMEONE YOU LOVE DEEPLY KISS SOMEONE ELSE IS THE MOST PAINFUL THING I HAVE EXPERIENCED AND YOU THINK JUST BY A SIMPLE KISS EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY! WELL TAYLOR ITS NOT, NOW LEAVE!" I pushed him out onto the terrace and locked the door drawing my curtains along and lying on my bed sobbing into the pillow when the door bashed open.

"We heard shouting, are you okay?" Kian rushed to my side.

"Kian why is love so complicated?" I looked at him as he pulled me onto his lap and I cried into his chest.

"It's okay, everything is going to be okay I promise."

"They why does it feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest."

"Because you are heart broken, everything will sort its self out you just gotta give it time, I think you and Taylor need space, but I mean you are going to New York soon so you will both get that space."

"No it won't, I broke up with him." The tears streamed down my face as he looked at me with sad eyes then sighed.

"Come on." He stood up as I looked up at him.

"Where are we going?" he smirked grabbing the keys.

"For a drive I wanna show you something?" I walked to my bathroom wiping my black eyes and wiped off the rest of my makeup and quickly got changed then followed my brother.

"We will be back in a bit later." My brother yelled to the boys before I followed him out.

We drove to a cliff as I looked at him unsure.

"I know it looks weird, but come on." Kian got out of the car and walked a little bit. I sighed following him into a bunch of bushes.

"You may need to crawl under a few branches." Kian chuckled as we came out to another cliff, but it had an amazing view of California. (Up top.)

"It's beautiful." I gasped looked at the beautifully lit city as Kian chuckled.

"I come here with the guys and sometimes on my own when I am stressed." I nodded looking out at the view."

"It's really pretty how far is it from out house."

"About a 15 minute walk, 7 minute walk from your school." What a great hideout.

"Don't come here on a Saturday night though."

"Why?" He laughed shrugging.

"People come in their cars and make out and have sex and sometimes you get dodgy people hiding in the bushes." I nodded as he looked at me.

"Why did you break up with Taylor?"

"He kissed a girl, so when I tried to talk to him about it he kissed me hoping I would forget everything and forgive him, but he doesn't understand how much he has emotionally hurt me." I started to tear up, but I blinked away the tears.

"Listen to Miss Movin on by Fifth Harmony."

"How does this relate to-"

"Trust me just listen to the song when we got back." I nodded as we started talking about this summer and what other things we have in store.

I got back and rushed upstairs without saying anything to the boys and ran into my room and put my headphones into my laptop and listen to the song.

I'm breaking down, gonna start from scratch. Shake it off like an etch-a-sketch. My lips are saying goodbye. My eyes are finally dry. I'm not the way that I used to be. I took the record of repeat. It killed me but I survived. And now I'm coming alive. I'll never be that girl again. No oh oh my innocence is wearin' thin but my hear is growing strong so call me, call me, call me Miss Movin' on oh oh oh.

I ran downstairs seeing Kian eating a pancake.

"The song."

"You liked it?"

"I listened to the two first verses and the first chorus and its so relatable right now." Kian chuckled pulling me into a hug.

"I am glad you like the song." I nodded as he smiled.

"Yeah, but I am tired so I am going to bed." He nodded as I kissed his cheek and the other boys walked upstairs and I messaged Jenn.

K: Hey, can we meet tomorrow, I wanna go shopping :)

J: Sure I saw Kian's isntagram post of the Cali view oh my wow its so pretty

K: Yeah, he took me there bc I was upset with Taylor :/

J: What happened?

K: Well we were trying to sort things out, we kind of ended up bickering then he kissed me hoping I would forgive him and forget everything that happened.

J: What the fuck? he doesn't understand how your feeling does he?

K: Nope, but I am going to go see ya tomorrow <3

J: See you tomorrow hun <3

I put my phone on charge then climbed into bed and started drifting asleep.
