Will She Remember?

Starting A New School

Sam's POV

I stare at my brand new high school nervous and excited. My stomach turns and jumps. Slowly I walk up to the door and enter.

There's kids everywhere, the hallways are pack it makes me feel claustrophobic. People push and shove me trying to get to their classes. I make a quick dash to the office. Opening the office door I let out deep sigh, a blonde hair woman sits behind a desk. Chewing loudly on bubble gum.

"Umm...hi..I'm new, My name is Sam Miner." I said very awkwardly, I give her a small wave. Without saying a word she begins to type something into the computer.

"Yes here you are. I will be right back with your schedule." She leaves me alone in the office. Quickly she returns a few moments later with a white piece of paper.

She hands me the paper, "Here is your schedule." "Thanks" I looked down at the paper to find my first class Drama. "Umm...excuse me where can I find the Drama Room?" "Room 108." She replies with a smile. I return the smile and leave the office.

I look side to side looking for my class. Suddenly the bell rings and every kid in the hallway starts to run. Trying find there classrooms. Kids push and shove me around to get by again. Me not paying attention someone knocks me to the cold hard ground.

Damn...

Kids just pass me by like I'm not even here. I rub my head from the impact, I look up and saw a brown hair boy with blue eyes extending his hand to me.

He helped me up from the ground. "Hi I'm Louis." he said with a warming smile.

"I'm Sam." I blush a bit and push my lose hair behind my ear. Louis helps me by picking my bag off the ground. "Hey are you new around here because I would have recognize a beautiful girl like you?" He smirks at me showing me his white teeth. I blush harder. "Yeah I'm new here." I answer.

"What class do have right now I could help you find it?" He asks me. "Drama" I look back down at my schedule. "Uh...Drama." I reply.

"Awesome I have Drama too!" He's really happy about having the same class. "Could you help find the classroom then?" I ask with hope in my eyes because I'm really lost.

"Of Course I can help you. We better hurry though, so were not late." Almost all the kids in the hallway have disappeared into their classrooms.

We walk down the hallway together until we stop at Room 108. We entered and the whole class stares at us. I feel extremely out of place.

"Mr. Tomlinson please take a seat. I will deal with the new student." Says a man in a brown blazer. I'm guessing he is the teacher. Louis goes and sits in his seat.

"What's your name?" He speaks firmly. "Umm...Sam..my name is Sam Miner." I shyly respond. "Welcome to my class Sam. You take a seat beside Mr. Tomlinson." He points over to Louis. I make my way to my new seat. Louis waves at me with a warming smile.

"Okay class today we will be doing the balcony sence from Romeo and Juliet." The teacher says while handing out scripts. "Emma and James, Tessa and Rick, Mia and Jakob, Dakota and Jhon and finally Sam and Louis are partners." The teacher instructs. Everyone splits up into their pairs. Louis and I go by the window. "ACTION!!" Screams the teacher.

"Romeo, Romeo, where for out tho Romeo." I read from the script. Trying not to laugh which is really hard cause Louis keeps making faces while I read my lines.

"Juliet is the east and..pfftt Hahaha!" Louis breaks down into giggles because I wanted him to get a taste of his own medicine, so I made faces back. I guess I made a really funny face because he burst into laughter. Which made me laugh also. Laughing is contagious.

Suddenly everyone goes quiet in the room and stare at us. "Mr. Tomlinson and Miss. Miner!! What is so funny?!?" The teacher yells at us. Which make us laugh harder we can't hold it in. "Ummm..." we stammer, luckily the bell rings. Louis and I grab our bags and bolt for the door just like everyone else.

"Mr. Tomlinson and Miss. Miner!! What is so funny?!?" Louis mimics the teacher with a grouchy tone and points his finger at me. Which makes me giggle. After we finsh laughing and we have calm down Louis asks me, "What's your next class??"

"Umm..English..I think." I said unsurely. "Oh I know someone in your class he is one of my friends." This lifts some weight off of my shoulders. At least I'll know someone.

"His name is Zayn, you will like him. Nice guy." We walk up to a locker. A black hair boy with brown eyes opens a locker next's to us, grabbing a text book. "Hey Zayn this is my friend Sam she's new and she is in your English class."

"Hi Zack." I said while shaking his hand.

"It's Zayn and nice to meet you." he replies with a smile. "Sorry Zayn. Do you think you can show me where our classroom is?" I ask again I have no clue where to go once again.

"Sure. Let's go." He says and he begins to walk down the hallway. "Bye guys! Save me a seat at lunch!" Louis yells while walking away in the opposite direction to his next class.
