Will She Remember?

Well This is Awkward

Sam's Pov

I hold the phone up to my ear and wait for Niall to answer. He answers on the forth ring. "Hello.'' He greets. "Hey Niall!" I greets. "What's up?" He asks. "Umm I have a problem." I answer. "What's wrong?" He asks concern.

"My dad has to work on spring break." I sigh. "Oh no! Are you still going to Canada?" He asks again. "That's why I'm calling you. I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to Canada?"

"I would love to, it's all up to my mum. I'll tell her about your problem. Just wait sec." I can hear Niall put the phone down and walk away. Every moment he doesn't return my chances of going home slip away from me.

That's when I hear him pick up the phone once again. "Are you still there?" He asks. "Yea." I reply. "So what do you want first the good news or bad news?" He question.

"The bad news." I state firmly. "Ok my mum says that this trip will be my birthday gift." He answers. "That's not bad news! You will still get gifts from the boys and me." I giggle. "Oh yeah!" He realizes. "So your coming with me?!?" I squeal.

"Yup!" He yells excitedly . "Yeah!" I chant. "But before you get too excited you have to have a little chat with my father. He isn't as excited, that I will be traveling alone with a boy." I explain.

"Alright I will be there in a hour or so." He says goodbye and hangs up. I put my phone away in my back pocket.

Better not finish packing, this can go either way.

I make my way downstairs and sit down on the sofa beside my dad. "So will Niall be coming over?" My dad asks. "Yup he will be here in a hour or so." I say quoting Niall.

We begin to watch the news, I don't really pay any attention the news boars me. The head anchor is talking about the weather when there's a knock on the door. We turn our heads at the door and I get up from my seat to answer it.

I open the door and Niall stands in the doorway. "Come on in Niall." I greet and shut the door as he walks inside. "Hello Sam. Mr. Miner." He greets and hangs up his coat. "Hello Niall." My father greets back.

"Come sit down." My dad kindly commands. Niall did what he's told and sit down. I follow and sit down beside Niall. "So Niall what did your parents say about you coming along with Sam to Canada?" My dad asks.

"There alright with it and if I get your permission to go sir I will pay you back for the ticket." Niall answered. "Have you ever been on a plane before?" He questions. "Yes sir I have been on a plane many times." Niall replies.

"Alright do have any feelings towards my daughter?" My dad asks. Heat rushes to my cheeks. I look over at Niall and he's also blushing.

Well this just got awkward.

"No sir I don't have feelings toward Sam. Were only friends." Niall answers while blushing. "So you won't pull anything?" My dad eyes Niall. "No sir only protect her." Niall answers still blushing. "Then I see no reason why you can't go." My dad comments.

I turn over at Niall and pull him into a hug. "Yeahh!" I cheer.
