"K bye doggies!"
"You are here for us"
"Chop goes their heads off"
I woke up to the loud sound of an explosion. I gasped. I watched as there was a car accident across from us.
"Shit!" I said.
"I know right," Matthew said.
I looked to my right, Amy and Alyssa were both asleep.
"How long have we been driving?"
We're almost there, just a few minutes left," Chris said.
"I've slept for the past few hours?" I asked.
"Yep," Matthew said.
I looked out the window to see a bunch of glass scattered on the floor.
"You managed to finish your book," Chris said.
"What?" I asked.
I picked my book from the floor, and opened the book. I usually took out the bookmark, if I were to complete the entire book. There was no bookmark.
"What the hell?" I asked.
I got my phone out, and unlocked it. I quickly went through my notes, and saw that I typed the book's name down on my: Completed Section.
"I never remember this..." I whispered.
Then there was a long, loud honk.
Amy flinched awake, "AHH!!!"
She slowly looked around, and saw that everything was okay. She managed to wake Alyssa as well.
"My bad..." Amy apologizes.
"What happened?" Alyssa yawns.
I sat there confused, while the others cared about the accident.
"Hey Alan, you okay?" Chris asks.
"... Are you sure I finished this book?" I asked.
"Yeah. You told us how the antagonist eventually gets killed in the end," Chris says.
"Why?" Matthew asked.
"I can't remember anything..." I said.
I saw as Amy clicked her phone.
"It's 6:47?" Amy asked.
"Is it?" Alyssa asked.
"It's fine. We can stay for a couple more days... Plus, there was way too much traffic on the way here," Chris says.
"But that's the problem... Where are we gonna stay?" Amy asked.
"We can stay at my Aunt's motel," Alyssa announced.
"Your Aunt owns a motel?" Amy asked.
"Yep," Alyssa responds.
"What motel?" Matthew asks.
"Hilton Garden Inn," She says.
"Well... What do you guys think?" Chris asked.
"Want me to call them?" Matthew asks.
"Mhm," Chris says.
Matthew goes through his phone, and calls Jaren.
"We're gonna have to go tomorrow. Yeah, it's getting too late... Alyssa says that we have a place to stay... Yes, we'll go get food. Okay, just keep following us," Matthew hangs up.
"Well?" Chris asked.
"They said sure," Matthew says.
"Where is it?" Chris asks.
"I'll put the address in my phone," Alyssa says.
In the meantime, Chris tried his best to go around the accident, with the sky dimming dark, it was a bit hard.
"Here," Alyssa hands the phone to Matthew.
"It says just to go through another freeway," Matthew says.
"We'll get there in a few minutes," Chris says.
