They said that black is the epitome of darkness. But for her, that's the only color that exist around her and the one she's familiar with. It's the only world she knew. But that's going to change when suddenly, she sees not just some spark of colors...
He's different from what I expected. Here I am, judging that he will be a total ass to deal with. But, the truth is, he's not what I expected. He's kind and polite. Also, a little much of shyness in him cause he never stops blushing while we are discussing the project. I do not even know why he keeps blushing. Did my blouse accidentally show to much cleavage or skin? That's weird because weren't guys nowadays suppose to appreciate it a lot and not blushing like a tomato?
His act of shyness just makes me want to pinch his cheek. So bad.
Our discussion at the garden end up quite well and even though we just manage to only divide the work between us, It took a couple of hours. After the discussion had ended, Luca being a gentleman he is, accompany me walking to where I park my car. Before he left, he told me that we will meet again tomorrow to continue our discussion.
For a split second, my heart just can't wait to meet him tomorrow.

The next day, I did not have any classes so I spent my time wondering around the university while waiting for Luca to text me. After wandering aimlessly, I just went to the cafe and find a comfortable seat to read my novel. While reading, suddenly, I got a text from Luca.

I quickly stand up and make my way to the library. When I arrived, I spotted Luca standing outside the library looking around. He did not notice me yet because his back is facing me. I pat him on the back.
"Luca."
"Audrey." His cheek started transforming into a crimson red. I show him my biggest smile.
"Let's go inside."
Both of us head inside the library and when we were inside, there are not a lot of students inside it although Crawford University is popular for having the biggest library in the state. It's all thanks to my dad who donates a lot of money for this university. I mean this library have a total 8th floor and it takes forever to discover every inch of this building.
"Let's go to the 8th floor." said Luca.
Not questioning why he choose that particular floor, I just nod and get along with it
"Okay."
We use the elevator and once we arrived on the 8th floor, there's only 1 person around and he is sleeping.
"Wow.I have never been in this floor and it's kinda empty here." I said while walking around the shelves.
"Yeah, this floor is dedicated to historical section. I wanted our discussion to be here because I don't want people to look at us. It's kinda disturbing and crept me a bit."
I just smiled apologetically at him.
"Sorry."
He noticed my look and smile a little.
"It's okay really. Actually, I want to show you my favorite spot in here. It's where I spent most of my time." said Luca while walking between the shelves. I wonder why he wants to show me his favorite place. We just started to talk yesterday. I look around me and there's a lot of shelves and it's a maze to be inside here.
After losing Luca's trail 2 times, Luca decides to holds my hand because he's afraid of losing me for the 3rd time. At first, he was reluctant to hold it. When he holds my hand, he blushed furiously. I chuckled quietly when he looked back at the front and led the way. After a lot of turns, we arrived at a small space.
This part of the library seems never been visited in forever. I make my way to one of the shelves and run my hands on the spines of the books. The dust that I collect by touching the spine proof my theory about this part of the library.
Put aside the dusty part, this place is nice, it's comfy.
"It's lovely here," I said while looking at the small window.
"T-Thanks. This place brings me comfort actually. "
"Well, let's continue from our yesterday discussion."
He nods and both of us sit down at the bottom of the shelves.
Little did I know by showing his favorite spot, it will lead things to another heartfelt moment.
