"Ok-" I did not let her finish her sentence before I ended the call.
I'm speechless. My jaw literally hit the floor.
My hands are shaking so bad because I'm still shocked and cannot believe what my eardrum has been listened to.
I know it's quite rude to just disconnect a call like that. But I'm flabbergasted right know and I really did not want to embarrass myself further. It's not every day or in other words, improbable that Audrey, the university "High Social heiress" will personally call you.
There are many reasons actually such as she's the most influential person in the university and she's in a different rank from all of us. Because of her rank, majority of the students feels like they aren't supposed to be acquaintance with her. Feelings self- esteem maybe.
Also, the fact that she's a hella smart of a woman. Personally, I felt threatened by her smartness.
Did not want to waste my time, I speedily make my way to the garden behind the block F building.
I look around the garden when I have already arrived. The atmosphere is pretty serene. I spot her and she's the only one who's in the garden right know because I did not spot any soul around her. She was sitting on one of the benches and she's was reading some thick books which she puts on her lap.
I make my ways to her and when I'm a few centimeters from her, my step stops suddenly.
I felt awkward right know. I did not know how to start the conversation first because I will only embarrass myself further if I make the first move.
Maybe sensing there's another person around her, she tilts her head upwards and looked me in the eyes.
I know that she's pretty. But up close, she's more beautiful than I thoughts. I suddenly felt hesitant to start the conversation.
Screw the hesitant. I'm going to make the first move.
"He-hey."
I'm doomed.
She did not say anything. She just looked at me like she was analyzing something. Then she stands up suddenly and makes her way to me.
"umm.. I'm L-Luca. Sorry.. for making you waiting." I said while scratching the back of my neck and avoiding eye contact at any cost.
She still did not say anything and it makes me blushes suddenly.
When I looked up, a dazzling smile adorned her face. And let just say, her smile will haunt me and imprinted in my thoughts forever.
