Chappie Nine - Targeted Lucy

Lucy's Pov
I was into a book that interested me when I noticed how late it was. I quickly put away my things and tucked myself into bed. I also kept my sword next to me when I slept because you never know.

6:30

I woke up to the sound of shuffling feet. "Rin is that you?" I mumble half asleep. There was no reply and the shuffling of the feet kept going.
I realized that it wasn't Rin and lashed out my sword. "who are you?" I asked. "you don't need to know who I am all you need to know is that I'm here to end you" He spoke menacingly and started to attack with shadows. I blocked and attacked him. Impossible it had no effect! "What's the matter Heartfilia. You seemed so confident before." He said. Before I could land another hit on him he tied me up using shadows and started to torture me. "AH SOMEBODY HELP ME" I screamed. "it's hopeless Heartfilia no one is coming for you. You're just a useless little girl" he smirked I could see it. There's something about him that seemed familiar.

Rin's Pov
I heard screams and loud noises.
"Lucy is in trouble" my senses told me. "Yukio wake up Lucy is in trouble!" I said "this is probably just another one of your imaginations" he said chucking a little. "No I'm serious follow me"I dragged him with my sword ready. I kicked down the door to reveal a man with clothes covering his face to hide his identity and Lucy being attacked. He fled out the window before I could try something. "Lucy are you okay " Yukio panicked "Yes but I recognize him" she uttered going into deep thought. "Who is he" I asked pretty curious. "He is a person me and my friends survived against. But I thought he was dead" she explained. "We'll take you to the school hospital." Rin said. "No it's okay just a few scratches." Lucy smiled weakly. She stood up with the help of her sword and went to the bathroom. "I hope she's okay" I said to Yukio as we went to get ready.

Lucy's Pov

I put on my school attire, though I was hissing in the process. I took in a deep cut in the stomach last night. It hurts like hell but at least I'm alive. I guess it because of me being a half demon. I walked out of my dorm holding my stomach so the wound wouldn't hurt as much. Rin noticed this and frowned at me. "I thought you said you were okay" he said. "I am okay it's just a scratch" I assured him which didn't work this time. He lifted my shirt to see the deep wound. "Lucy why did you lie to us?" Rin asked looking into my eyes. Yukio gave me a serious look. "Sorry I thought I could deal with it" I said looking away. "I doesn't matter we're here for you no matter what" an image of Fairy Tail flashed through my head as he said that. "T-thank you" I sniffled and hugged them both.

=Time Skip=

Class was in session. I can't get my mind off of it. It's gotta be him. "Yukio" I raised my hand. "Yes Lucy?" He responded. "I think I know who attacked me but I need to see some of my old friends first"
